Several months after meeting Rachel at a Bridal Show in Baltimore City, I reached out to her. She was super friendly and we set up a time to meet in her office to discuss ideas for our save-the-dates and other stationary-related items for our wedding. I went to the meeting with a general idea of what I wanted and a theme of baseball. Rachel more than impressed with her design ideas. When it came time to begin drafting our save-the-dates, Rachel did not disappoint. After seeing a draft version of the save-the-date, I requested a few changes, mostly to fonts. After seeing the next round of drafts, I quickly saw that Rachel's first draft was right on point and I asked her to change my revisions back to her original ideas. Our save-the-dates were magnets that had the look of baseball tickets. We received so many compliments on the design. I was looking for something specific to use as a design for our hotel welcome bags and other items. I went to Rachel and once again impressed with creating a design especially for us. When it came time to put together our table numbers, guest cards, signs for the reception and programs, I was once again excited to communicate with Rachel and see her ideas. Once again, we received many compliments on the items. I think one indication of how much people loved the final product was that at the end of the reception, our coordinator realized that not one table number (shaped as jerseys with baseball teams) was left and not one guest card (miniature versions of the table numbers) remained. Our guests loved them so much that they took them home! Rachel was patient with my requests for changes (and I usually reverted back to her original ideas) and very professional. She is much more than just a day of coordinator she really is invested in her couples and their wedding. I have not yet had her at my wedding however I have known her for the past year and a half leading up to this wedding date and will be working with her for a whole another year since my wedding has been rescheduled due to covid-19. I messaged her in the weeks leading up to my due date just to confirm her availability. She was great and very responsive. Fast forward to the day I left the hospital after giving birth I texted her but received no response. Three days later, with a five day old, I tried to reach her again. She did not return my phone call but texted me after multiple attempts on my part to reach her. She said she thought she would be available "next Sunday"- I asked which Sunday she meant and she didn't respond but "didn't have a calendar with her" and would have to let me know. Fast forward five days and still no response. I messaged her to let her know I booked with another photographer and that I didn't appreciate the lack of communication. Then she said she emailed me a confirmation email - didn't I get it? And to check my spam. There was nothing in any of my emails- inbox or spam. She couldn't tell me which email address she sent the confirmation to, which was not surprising because we had never corresponded over email, text only, and I had never even given her my email address. Bottom line: poor communication, bad business practices, waste of $$. It's 2014, the line "the email must not have gone through" doesn't work anymore. If you are a new mom thinking about getting newborn photos save yourself a headache and book with someone else. (You get what you pay for.) I'll be contacting Living Social.

Then, within TWO WEEKS of our wedding she had 1200 (that is not a typo, 1200!) beautifully edited images to us. That is a pretty amazing turn around.
