Pretty much you can go with ANY other Photo Booth company and get better service because there's absolutely no reason to go with this company. They can't deliver on anything they promise and for an event like a wedding, I would 200% go with a more trustworthy company. Just fyi the photobooth also broke down for a short time too during the wedding. I so regret choosing them! Danielle, Janine, Lindo, Anna at this company are jokes of employees. Their email also got hacked and I got phishing emails. They knew about it and didn't even bother contacting their clients about it to warn them. Scam of a company.

My main issue with the Charm City was one of the photobooth operators was really nasty to my guests and I. Several people came up to tell me that she was nasty to them. I witnessed it firsthand when she got snippy with me and clearly she knew it was my party. Apparently, people pressed on the screen too hard when in the photobooth. This wasn't done out of malice on anyone's part; just people having a great time in the booth. The operator's tone was so nasty to guests as she practically screamed at people to not do it again. I suggest that the company instruct its operators to place a sign on the booth to let guests know to touch the screen lightly. Later on, a friend of mine who got to the venue early enough to see the operators set up said that the same operator was rude to the restaurant manager. Her attitude totally dampered an otherwise fun experience. I would recommend the vendor to a friend only if it could guarantee that it would not send out that operator. I followed up with the vendor after the event and it was clear to me that the operator is still employed with the company. I would definitely have a photobooth at another event but I don't know if I would use Charm City again.

And from the beginning, Brea has made it very clear to us that we made the perfect choice in having her photograph our wedding. Brea and her assistant Tommy are both exceptionally talented photographers. They are both great at capturing things "in the moment" as well as your standard wedding photos. Brea and Tommy are both incredibly easy to work with, and easily went from being able to blend into the background to capture all the small moments surrounding our wedding to being friendly and causal while my wife and I moved around with them to take our pictures. It really helped put the two of us at ease taking relaxed and "us" pictures. I wouldn't hesitate to recomend Brea to anyone. She recently relocated to Hawaii from Texas and from her portfolio, you can see that she dove right into photographing weddings in one of the most perfect locations possible. Her use of light is perfect if you want something soft and romantic, and yet she has a variety of edgy photo shoots that are still very personal. She's really personable and accommodating when it comes to what you want and she has some serious skills. Katie responded right away, and I liked that they offered a "one hour" package as well as the "lifestyle shoot" that is typical. She was flexible in letting me feel out what I needed, but this arrangement made Merkle Photography more than competitive on price. It took a few reschedules to get to our session -- my ring resizing, the weather, an injury Katie sustained -- but when we finally got to a Saturday that worked for all of us, it was freezing cold outside. (What a month to do photos!) Katie and Thomas didn't blink an eye and met us at the icy tidal basin for some 20 degree photography. We lasted about 20 minutes out there, and then I asked them to go to a museum -- one they'd never been to. They did an incredible job finding creative shots and working with an unfamiliar location. My advice: just follow their advice! They know what shots they are going for, and they will be striking and unique. So far, we've only received a "Sneak Peek" of about five photos -- but those were up the same night, and we were just blown away by shots we didn't even realize they were getting. Our friends can't get over what genuine artists we found for a routine engagement shoot. I wish I could afford to fly Katie out to my wedding in CA, too! I will update this review when I get my full set of photos (any day now -- they get perks for short turnaround!) -- but I couldn't wait to let the Yelp community know about this gem of a photography business.
