Neither of us have any real experience in front of a camera but Seth made sure we were comfortable. We were never asked to do anything that would make us feel awkward. Seth's photography style is distinct and something that stands out from the rest of the wedding photographers out there. There's an aura to the photos that our family can't stop raving about! My wife and I agree--if we had to do this all over again, Seth and Strands of Light would be the first vendor we'd call. They exceeded what we thought we could get out of our wedding photos.

We fell in love with her spirit and her amazing photos. She is hands down the most affordable, best deal money can buy in the DC area. We chose a package that included an engagement photo shoot and her service all day at the wedding. She has an uncanny way of capturing details, relationships, and fun. We literally laughed and cried out loud from the emotion that we got from both our engagement pictures and our wedding photos. Her photo journalistic style really told the story of our entire wedding. It was truly amazing. Olivia even surprised us by bringing a second photographer with her for the entire day, free of charge. Literally, they were with us from 9am to 11pm! The span of photos they took was truly impressive, and the quality was breathtaking. You will not be disappointed by Olivia's character, work ethic, and tremendous skill. We hope that we can use her again when we need to capture another memory.

Groupon told us that several complaints have been made in regards to this "deal," citing similar concerns. I hope to find a better option at a low cost--fingers crossed.

We hired Charm City for its photobooth service for our post-wedding celebration. Photobooths are…read morealways a hit. People really loved it. My main issue with the Charm City was one of the photobooth operators was really nasty to my guests and I. Several people came up to tell me that she was nasty to them. I witnessed it firsthand when she got snippy with me and clearly she knew it was my party. Apparently, people pressed on the screen too hard when in the photobooth. This wasn't done out of malice on anyone's part; just people having a great time in the booth. The operator's tone was so nasty to guests as she practically screamed at people to not do it again. I suggest that the company instruct its operators to place a sign on the booth to let guests know to touch the screen lightly. Later on, a friend of mine who got to the venue early enough to see the operators set up said that the same operator was rude to the restaurant manager. Her attitude totally dampered an otherwise fun experience. I would recommend the vendor to a friend only if it could guarantee that it would not send out that operator. I followed up with the vendor after the event and it was clear to me that the operator is still employed with the company. I would definitely have a photobooth at another event but I don't know if I would use Charm City again.
