I think any great service provides high quality, reasonable prices, efficient turnaround, and good communication. With Lindsay, you get all of this (times 1000) and much, much more. She is very detail-oriented, which made it easy to explain our complicated wedding day that moved between six different rooms of a museum. She goes above and beyond to get great shots with creative touches. She is also super friendly and hilarious, which made her easy to talk to ahead of time and work with on the day-of. All of our photos were amazing! p.s. Lindsay, can we be friends? Seriously.

Lindsay's talents as a photographer speak for themselves. I mean, go to her portfolio. Like ... come one. Extremely evident that this woman has mad skills. I knew from her work product and IG stalking that Lindsay was extremely talented. What I didn't know? Lindsay has an incredible knack for making people feel comfortable, at ease, and free to be themselves. My wife and I aren't really into photos lol. We don't post a whole bunch to social media and my other half in particular doesn't always enjoy being in the spotlight. Lindsay was so much fun throughout. She felt like a friend or a family member who cared as much as we did about having some good snaps of these important memories. We used Ginger Fox Photography for our engagement photos, our rehearsal party, and the wedding. It's perhaps one of the best choices we made in our vendor hiring. Lindsay is organized, meticulous, and is so obviously experienced. Sometimes we'd be like ... let's do this! And she'd be like, I like that but here are some things to think about based on what I've seen. (SO HELPFUL!) She'd listen to our ideas and always try to make it work. Inevitably on our wedding day, everyone was pretty high-stress. Between our shots she'd tell us to breathe and relax and it was incredibly helpful. She managed our family portraits (two very large and very squirrely Irish and Italian families) like a pro. When we got the photos back we were almost in tears to see how beautiful they turned out. Five stars. A+. If you are considering another photographer your search is over. Lindsay Ladd wins everything.

When I contacted her, she was very responsive and sent me many examples of her portfolio. When we met with her, she was very professional and agreed to do a lengthy, multi-day wedding shooting. Fast forward to the wedding day, Nessa absolutely nailed the photos. She took beautiful candids but also managed to take scores of huge group photos of family and friends where everyone looked great and didn't blink somehow, and she did it in seemingly 1-2 seconds per group. She agreed to travel with the bride and groom to 2 locations during the wedding day (in between the ceremony and reception) and captured the most stunning autumn photos. Even though we didn't prepare for any couple poses, she shared fun ideas to make us seem more natural and it actually worked. She also was great at taking dance floor photos and everything in between. We received our plethora of beautiful photos through email and were so absolutely pleased. We would absolutely recommend Nessa as she is an expert behind the camera, super fun and easy going, and she helped us capture our day just the way we always pictured it.

Honestly, we couldn't get enough of the amazing work Nessa produced. And she's super sweet to boot! Our photos were more beautiful than we expected and we were so fortunate to have found such a talented person so early on in our engagement. Sadly, we don't live in Austin any more and can't splurge on a random anniversary photo session (I mean, who doesn't like to dress up and get their picture taken?) but we totally would if we could.

And Teri was so much fun on the day of our wedding during prep that all of my bridesmaids are also now obsessed with her and want to be friends in real life. I really can't say enough good things about Teri. I would 100% hire her again in an instant. And if you value photography and you like nice people you absolutely should hire her for your event.

I really liked how we tried different outfits and she was very patient with me while I changed outfits. I wish there was a bit more "WOW" factor, but I understand this is a hobby/passtime rather than her full-time job like some of the photographers I requested quotes from. When requesting a quote, Aditi was so friendly, so that's why I booked her. I enjoyed our conversation and how personal things felt. Really awesome birthday session. I like how I got high quality photos that night on a gallery-type website to download on my computer. She was on- time, wore her mask, and flowered me with compliments. Really truly a good 1st time experience and I thank Aditi.

Obviously I didn't read the text or respond immediately because I WAS DRIVING! If it was that important and she knows I am driving call instead of texting. When I did show up after 3 hours in the car the door was locked (remember she had okayed me coming late). I called Ruthie to let her know I was there and that I just saw the text. Her response was so off-putting. I've never met a ruder person. After arguing with me for 20 minutes she then had the gall to say if we had started 20 minutes earlier then everything would be ok. Seriously?! If we started when I arrived it would have been that 20 minutes. Every excuse she tried to give made absolutely no sense. She even tried to play the 'single mom' card. To top it off she charged my credit card $200 (TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS) extra for the 'deposit.' There are enough other boudoir photographer options in the area. Save yourself the stress and ridiculous made up charges and get your photos done literally ANYWHERE ELSE! If I could give -5000 stars I would. Update: Ruthie commented on this review to dispute everything I said. Yes she did offer to reschedule, but one of her reasons for not following through today was that "our vibe is off now." After what happened this morning our "vibe" would be just as off - if not worse - tomorrow. Additionally, I am appalled that she said she gave me a 15 minute grace period and claimed I was an hour late. I called an hour before my estimated arrival time and had the new appointment time approved and then arrived within minutes of the cutoff time she texted me. I have time-stamped photos to prove otherwise. There is also exactly zero signage to help a customer locate the studio - not even at least on the front door. Moreover, how does her being a single mom have anything to do with this situation?? She looked me in the eyes and said she had looked out the door to check for my car before she locked the door. First off, how would she know which car is mine? The studio is in business park so she can't see every parking spot and it's absurd to think she knows who every car in the lot belongs to including those of visitors to the other businesses. Another excuse was that she had sent the makeup artist home already (moments after she told me the makeup artist usually stays until noon). I said I wouldn't mind doing the shoot without having my hair and makeup done since I wanted my natural hair anyway and feel more comfortable without makeup. According to the timeline she provided this solution would have put us ahead of schedule. She refused. I decided not to engage with her anymore and leave, but before I did so I needed to collect my things and respond to a time sensitive message on my phone. I then immediately left. I don't see why this would be a problem. I chose Ruthie because of positive reviews, but now it would not surprise me if she paid/bribed the reviewers. Once again, STAY AWAY!
