I work in the creative field so finding a terrific photographer to capture our wedding day and all of the important moments that I want to hang onto forever - that was super important. I knew from her work product and IG stalking that Lindsay was extremely talented. What I didn't know? Lindsay has an incredible knack for making people feel comfortable, at ease, and free to be themselves. My wife and I aren't really into photos lol. We don't post a whole bunch to social media and my other half in particular doesn't always enjoy being in the spotlight. Lindsay was so much fun throughout. She felt like a friend or a family member who cared as much as we did about having some good snaps of these important memories. We used Ginger Fox Photography for our engagement photos, our rehearsal party, and the wedding. It's perhaps one of the best choices we made in our vendor hiring. Lindsay is organized, meticulous, and is so obviously experienced. Sometimes we'd be like ... let's do this! And she'd be like, I like that but here are some things to think about based on what I've seen. (SO HELPFUL!) She'd listen to our ideas and always try to make it work. Inevitably on our wedding day, everyone was pretty high-stress. Between our shots she'd tell us to breathe and relax and it was incredibly helpful. I would highly recommend working with Lindsay from Ginger Fox; everything about the experience was fantastic. I did a shoot with Lindsay so that I could have professional head shots, and also photos for my new website (I am a classical musician). Ladd Review Lindsay shot my wedding on top of Mt Hood (check out the gallery on her site). I cannot recommend her highly enough. I have been present for three weddings she has shot. One was outdoor in the rain, one was on a farm on a sunny day, and my own was on the side of a mountain in a snow storm and then in a dark mountain lodge. Seriously, we could not have had a better experience!!! Lindsay made me and my whole family feel comfortable and at ease on my wedding day. She listened when I told her my disabled father was self conscious about his posture, and she had the awesome idea to pull over a wicker love seat for him to sit in for family photos. I'm so glad I reached out to Lindsay about taking graduation portraits! She was easy to communicate with, a joy to be around, and provided quality photos at a fair price. Posing for portraits can sometimes feel forced or awkward, but Lindsay made the experience fun and enjoyable. Lindsay has so many wonderful qualities, from personal, to professional, to technical. If you read nothing else, read this: hire her now. She is a wonderful human being who makes excellent photographs. Let's start with technical, since that's how we began working with her in the first place. We found Lindsay through her reviews (Yelp and others) and were incredibly impressed with her abilities. She has a great eye, but more than that, she has the technical ability to carry out her vision across a variety of settings, lighting conditions, and skin tones. She can play with light in fun ways and she can also take very classic portraits. Lindsay's versatility led us to her in the first place, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Next, Lindsay is incredibly professional. From start to finish, she communicated well and was timely at each stage (even delivering our finished photographs a bit ahead of schedule). Her photographs are excellent and exactly as promised. It's also incredibly important to note that her photo packages include the full-sized files. Read that again. Almost no one does this, but it meant so much to us that we could keep the full record of our marriage. That said, we still plan to order some prints through her because archival quality prints are worth the money (and her prices are eminently reasonable) and because after working with her we want to do everything we can to support her business. Speaking of which, Lindsay is SO MUCH FUN. Her enthusiasm and energy bring out the best in her subjects (that's you!) and make for fantastic photographs. Lindsay and her assistant Sasha shot our wedding this past weekend in Princeton. They are awesome! Lindsay and Sasha shot our wedding on August 10, 2012. We received our wedding pictures about a month later, and we could not be happier with the results. Our photos are AMAZING! We found Lindsay Ladd of Ginger Fox online and we couldn't be happier with the work she did for our wedding. From our first contact with her to getting the flash drive with 700+ great photos in the mail about three weeks later (ask your photographer how long this will take--we had friends who waited months for theirs) our experience was fantastic! #1 Lindsay is responsive and communicates everything clearly. We were on a short timeline, and she was the first photographer to get back to us, and the first to set up a Skype call to talk about our photography goals. Her generous contract was easy to understand. She also listened to us very carefully. She learned about the events of our wedding weekend and which shots of people and events were going to be most important to us. This showed in the content of her photos, which captured the most meaningful parts of our experience. After contacting and conversing with many, many wedding photographers, my husband and I decided with Lindsay of Ginger Fox Photography because she was so professional, prompt and actually caring of her customers. Out of all the photographers we spoke with, Lindsay was on the only one who was genuinely nice and during the whole planning stage, she was understanding and accommodating.
