Responsive in a pinch and they do good work. I took delivery of a new range, but the delivery people balked when they saw that my gas range, which the electric range was replacing, was still connected. They informed me that they were unable to disconnect it, so I called ServiceOne. They came out within a couple of hours and fixed me up in about 10 minutes. Friendly people, excellent service. Highly recommended. read more

I called at 8 AM and made a same day appointment for a plumbing emergency. I gave them my address in Dubuque, Iowa. My service window was 8 AM to 5 PM. I called at 5 PM when no one showed and was told that I was somehow placed on the schedule for Omaha, Nebraska. So, they canceled my appointment. No phone call. No text. No email. No notification that the appointment was canceled or any attempt to contact me and be placed on the correct schedule. read more

I was in a desperate situation with a leaking boiler and didn't know what to do. ServiceOne sent a very nice guy, Bret, who told me that my boiler needed replacing, but not to worry too much, as it was still working and probably would continue to do so during this cold spell. He gave me a quote on replacement, but I went with another firm because they could get a boiler faster and fix this very stressful situation. But I want everyone to know that he's a very knowledgeable and fine employee. read more

From the phone call to schedule to the time the tech showed up, just about two hours. Very happy with that. Brandon was very helpful, explained and showed me what was going on with the furnace. He had the part available in the van and in 5 minutes, fixed. Hourly rate was $68 Plus part. Furnace is working now. Thank you! read more

One hiccup was that the person who did the estimate said he'd be doing the work, but misjudged how to implement the new install and wasn't there on install day. Two different people showed up on install day and noticed right away it couldn't be done the way the first person thought (also didn't seem like it was communicated to them what we needed done in general, so I needed to explain). They were very quick to troubleshoot and come up with a solution though. They did everything, including putting the fans together out of the boxes, and got the job done quickly and at a fair rate. Very friendly and treated everything with a sense of urgency. The new fans have been working great and will definitely keep Biechler in mind for any future projects. Highly recommended! I think if they work on the logistics/communication between the estimator and people doing the work, it will make their job go even smoother. Fortunately, they have some great problem solvers on their team.
