I had Done Right over last May to remove old and install new fixtures and sink in my powder room. I…read morewish I could remember his name - hard worker, strong, honest, decent and kind. Did a great job! So when I needed a plumber again for a Shower drip and a toilet leak, I called again. Made an appointment for 1 pm. Waited all day and finally came at 5 pm. I was upset but I had already waited all day so I went ahead. Blaise showed. I took him to the drippy shower. I had the part already. It was a matter of taking the faucet off and replacing a washer filter. The second project was the dripping toilet. Blais said that it was a faulty flapper and he didn't have the part but would run to the Lowe's to get one. A BASIC flapper and he didn't have one with him!! I asked - before he went to Lowe's - to tell me how much the project would be. He said $300!!! for a detachable flapper and a washer in a shower where I provided the part?! I said never mind, he was free to leave. He said he knew what the going rate was and his price was fair. I told him "Fair or not, I'm not paying $300 for a 15 minute job and especially since you kept me waiting for 5 hours." Blais said "What do you care, you work from home! " I asked his name and he told me but then asked if I was leaving a review. I said I probably would. He then offered to do the whole job for free as long as I promised not to leave a review! As if I'd trust him to do anything ever in my home!! I asked him to leave and he started yelling that I was going to ruin a man's business and livelihood over being late and expensive! (You can't make this stuff up!) I had to sternly demand that he leave my home at once!!! He did. And I then fixed the shower in 10 minutes on my own. The next day I bought a $17 Fluidmaster kit and fixed the toilet MYSELF! He had misdiagnosed the problem. It wasn't the flapper, it was the gasket. So for $17 and 30 minutes of my time, I save $300. The lady who answers the phone (Blaise's wife) is very professional and considerate and accommodating And apologetic. But Blais behaved horribly, was irresponsible and inconsiderate in 5 hours tardiness, was rude to expect me to be inconvenienced in such a way because I work from home, and didn't even diagnose the problem properly! Thank you, YouTube and DIY channel. It has liberated women like nothing else has! I'll never call Done Right again!

WOW. I mean: WOWWWWW. I cannot remember the last time our house was this clean…read more We had our first clean this morning -- we scheduled a full-on deep clean -- and I am floored by the great work Kelsey and her husband did here today. They did all of the normal things, sure, and the bathrooms and carpets and such are all spic and span. But they dusted everything, and I mean EVERYTHING. They got every single dog hair out of our sofa, they washed windows, cleaned every glass door to crystal clarity, washed walls and every baseboard and every bit of trim. They did the insides of our kitchen appliances, asked what we needed and took care and time to do the job right. And the best part? I've just finished a long work day and one thing I'm not doing right now is cleaning my kitchen. I'm able to relax, take a deep breath (it smells amazing in here, btw), and just be. That's worth the cost (which was absolutely reasonable!) all on its own.

The goods: Renae's responded promptly and had one time slot that worked just right. Their quick response, time slot and review sold me. They brought all cleaning supplies and were very friendly. The cleaning was really thorough. Honestly, my house which is midway through a renovation, was never so clean. They were here for several hours making sure everything was just right and they offered a walk-through at the end to review their work. They also left a thank you card and thank you gifts that included, hand soap, sanitizer, face masks, tissues and air freshener (see the photo). The only down side for me was the price point for a small home and knowing others had estimated less (only had two bedrooms of the three cleaned so I could keep my dog in one of the rooms-my decision). Regardless, I'd hire them back in a minute due to their professionalism, extremely thorough work and great personalities.

There was a problem, though, with its configuration in that an already-narrow passageway between the handler and the basement wall was made 4 inches narrower by the position of a mini-sump pump used to pump out condensed water. I called DRT and asked them to reposition the sump pump so that it would not block this passageway, and on Wednesday morning a technician came out and moved the sump pump so that the passageway got those 4 inches back, no charge. What I appreciate is the way Alex and Miguel took full responsibility for a professionally done job that fully meets our expectations. Thank you, Done Right Today!
