Zero Stars... After a major rain storm in the area, we woke…read moreup to our basement flooded. We called ServPro and they said they would be right out. It took several hours but one employee showed up late that evening. He explained that he could have a crew come out over night to start the cleanup. To keep from being charged "off hour" fees, I told him to hold off until the morning and he said they would be out at 8am. We asked for an estimate of how much the cleanup would cost. He stated it would be between $2000-$5000. I asked if he could be more precise. He said it was hard to say, but he estimated that it would be closer to the $2000 level. Workers didn't show up until around 5pm the next 2 days even after giving an 8am estimated start time. We asked 2 or 3 more times for an estimate on the cost. Each time, they repeated the $2000-$5000 range, but closer to the $2000. We called, and the office workers explained that the crew chief would be better to estimate it. After the 2 days of cleanup, they left their machines for a few more days and stopped by once a day to check their meters. I asked for the total bill and they still didn't know. I called 2 or 3 more times and was told they were still "working on" the bill. After 2 weeks, we received a bill of over $12,000. The bill and 330 pages of supporting documents arrived in an email. It took them more time to create the bill than they spent working in my house. How can that be?!?! How can they be that far off in their estimate? When I called and spoke to the management, they said I should have asked for an estimate first. We did. He said we shouldn't have asked the workers for an estimate. How were we to know that? If you send an employee out to my house, he is your representative. Unless he says otherwise, he is authorized to give estimates. ServPro manager says they won't change the bill.

After 1 year I still do not have a valid bill from them…read more They keep charging for things they did not do and then multiple charges for flooring in our bedroom. Carpet, Oak #1 and Oak #2. This goes on and on. They could not even total up their own line items correctly. I do not know if all Paul Davis franchises work this way or not. The corporate office has not been helpful. The Owner of this business needs a lesson in accounting. Check their bills for every line item, and make sure they did it. Make sure there are not duplicates between the base invoice and any change orders. Make sure they do not try and collect the O&P on the items that were not done. Jeff it has been over a week and I have not heard anything from Ken or Will. I would like to get a response so that I know something is going on.

They are the worst company to have clean up disaster in your home. They want to charge 40000 to clean up an unfinished basement room. They told us the work they would do and then said they were done after 3 different crews of young people that don't know what they are doing. They left being lots of blood stains and didn't fully clean anything. Don't use this company at all costs. They are defined as the ultimate scam artists by the people that work for them and people who have been used by them in a desperate time of need. Please call someone else to do your clean up.
