On the evening of December 25th 2021, our families had gotten together and at about 8pm it was noticed that the lower level of my parents' house had very wet carpeting. After quickly assessing the cause of a lot of water, we shut off the main line into the house and began cleaning up with wet/dry vacs and moving a lot of items to an area that the water had not spread to. Once we figured that the amount of water was too much, we contacted our insurance company (State Farm) and they pointed us to Service Restoration. Service Restoration had someone at the house Christmas Day night about 10:30 pm and he did a quick assessment of the situation and by midnight Service Restoration had a crew there, removing soaked carpeting, cutting sheetrock and dehumidifiers humming right away to begin to dry things out. Fast forward a few days and not only did Aaron have every portion of the restoration setup, but because my mother was in home hospice, Aaron was able to put his guys in a holding pattern so that mom could have her final days in quite surroundings and her family by her side. Aaron and his team have a great bedside manner and come from a place of understanding, not just being about business. Once possible to begin work, Aaron was on top of things, always keeping the family in the loop of each and every step. Even though it was not needed, Service Restoration would follow up with us every week to make sure things were going as planned with Aaron and his people. That was always a quick call as I did not have any concerns about any of the work that was being done. We brought them in for a fire in our commercial building. They were fast to get boots on the ground. There people came in and were productive initially and then the work came towards completion and they continued to bring in more equipment and manpower. We ended up asking them to leave and they played one owner against the other to continue to work. Then we joined and got them to leave and then they left equipment on site for weeks after. In the billing we saw them increasing the contract price per hour for each category of labor. read more

So I am gonna leave my experience for people to see and hear about because it's been nothing but a nightmare from He++ , I'm gonna say one star because a few of the ladies and gentlemen that came to our home were respectful and nice. It all started at the end of April kitchen fire happened our insurance company mentioned this business . So we have never had a fire before and decided why not let's go with this company . BIG MISTAKE . BIG . All they really did was remove trim from our window that didn't need to be removed . Megan never even asked us before she just went ahead and did it . And packed our dishes and utensils and small electric appliances away in a ton of tissue paper etc. I was told by Cassie and the other lady that they were gonna take all back to their company and clean everything .. The only items I believe they might and I say might have possibly cleaned was our items like material .( jackets that were hanging on coat hook , blankets , placemats .) I'm not even 100% that they did that . I do however know for sure that they didn't wash and of our dishes etc.. they still have Black suet on them . And still they charged our insurance company 20,000 dollars . They did hold our stuff for a few months which we needed them to considering We fired them back in July and had to find someone else to do the remodel . Like I said ," NIGHTMARE " also at the beginning this lady Megan , never responded back or called back when she said . They didn't make anything clear to us when this was our first fire . We had a fire and I call for a quote. They came the next day full of service promises. The told me they'd pack out my belongings in three day, it to a week, they told me they'd show in one day with HEPA filtered fans, it was three days. They told me they'd demolish my kitchen in a week after 3-months of waiting it was time to stop with them and move on. They scheduled a day to move my belongings back in and that has been extended three more days. They are a complete waste of time. read more

Still our home was left in worse condition and damaged by Service Restoration workers than before our flooding. How is this ok? A private ins adjuster came in and confirmed that indeed it is quite obvious they are negligent for the damage left to be fixed. They even asked for addition money from our insurance company claiming the $30000 was now needed to fix the "inevitable" damage they caused while putting in tile, pulling floorboards leaving prybar holes in walls, and stacking our wood oak doors on top of eachother = scratching and dinging them all up! Leaving marks on walls and floors cracking the ceiling from placing a plastic/metal frame during mortar removal. And we have caught the project mgr in lies holding him accountable when doing so! And being threatened by his account manager who too has lied in emails, voicemails, texts! Happy Holidays huh? Well it may be time for a "deep dig" and see dates licensing etc because none were actually shown. User beware- This had been going on since July! Anyone got a class action law suit going? Don't use this company unless you have insurance to cover your damage. I was charged over $4000 for 2 extractions of water and 14 fans in my basement for 2 days. That's 2000 a day. Called company and they just sent me pictures of what they did and charged me for things they did not do. Did not get a estimate up front, just said we will see how things go. No paper bill, a bill on email with a font so small you can miss charges. Very deceptive practices and Customer service is aggressive and sent pictures when questioned about certain charges,acting like I'm being deceptive, not them.​​ read more

What was supposed to be a $1,000 job, turned into over a $20,000 job because they did more damage that was what originally caused and want to increase the bill to get more out of your insurance. I called hoping for help with water that got into my HVAC ducts. Within 2 hours their service team was at my door. After reviewing the issue, speaking with their supervisor, they had an action plan and a quote. They were able to start right away, got most of the water out. Isaiah J. and Luis S. worked quickly and efficiently. They kept me informed and readjusted their strategy as they needed. They left a big dehumidifier to finish the job. The team that came back to check on the issue and remove the dehumidifier took their time, asked questions and made sure I was informed and satisfied with the job. I was! Basement flooded in the middle of the night they showed up after we called but after that was a nightmare employee's smoking on property walls taken apart after they were told not to gaming system damaged from piling everthing from the floor on top of it then they tell you to pay and not worrie about the things they damaged the insurance will cover it . service restoration tries to make you agree to a "contract" without giving you a cost. In about 45 minutes of listening to the "salesman's" drivel I fired him from the job. He told me the job would be $1850. When I told him that would be fine, then he said "well, it turns out, I accidentally undercharged you. I should have charged you 3 times that, but I'm going to try really hard to keep it at the $1850... but you never know..." He opened a wall and then told me "Whoa! This is AT LEAST an $8000 job! When I disagreed with him, he told me that this IS an $8000 job and there's nothing he can do. When I again disagreed and told him it was time for him to get his gear and get out of my building then he said "well... I'll do my best to keep it around the $1850." I was already finished with him. I've been flipping houses for 20 years. I know a crooked contractor when I see one. He said the entire job would be $1850 for demolishing and rebuilding. After he was fired (he only did about 75% of the demo and nothing for the repair) and charged me $1903.01. Once we got his crooked-behind out of the way, the entire job cost: $1,742 (of course, I needed to pay his ridiculous bill too so the cost was higher). In the process of the rebuild I contacted, via telephone, Jocelyn because she sent 2 bills in 3 days. I explained where the job stood and when a check would be paid to them. She was exceptionally rude. Please please please steer clear of this company. They are rude and crooked. They try to overcharge you at a vulnerable time of your life. They won't give you a dollar total and demand that you sign contract with them. They're terrible! read more

I had a very bad 1st experience with this company 5 years ago and I accidentally called them again 1 month ago during an emergency. They over charge for their poor service, their humidifiers don't work, they threw away personal items that were not damaged. I paid over $25,000 for horrible service! When cleaning my basement after sewer and water damage they said they were done and the sewage was dried and smeared all over the floor. No one wiped off my washer/dryer, my bar was torn apart and left in a heap instead of carefully moved away from the drywall. Their people came to check on equipment when there wasn't any, but still had to clean. They said they didn't know how. I have had to deal with different people coming every day and there is very poor communication within the company and staff are very rude. They will over charge you for very poor and rude service and will justify their actions. I'm sorry I accidentally hired this company again during an emergency. Never again! read more

This business says online it is open 24/7. They claim to be, and told me they can be to my house on a Saturday but they DIDN'T tell me they'll charge 'after hours' rates for doing so. When asking for an explanation and why I wasn't informed of the 'after hours' rates on the phone (had I been told, I would've told them to come Monday during business hours) I was told "I have to pay my guys, if you worked weekends wouldn't you expect overtime pay? I thought this was going to insurance so why would I explain after hours work to you?" Um what? MILLIONS of people work weekends without overtime pay if the business is open weekends? Nurses, doctors, retail workers, mill workers, food service, etc. It's not like I called them frantic at 3AM, I called Friday at 8 am and they arrived Saturday during the day. Their hours state open 24/7, why would I assume that would qualify as 'after hours'? I was screamed at by Dan on the phone for about 10 minutes about irrelevant insurance BS. Zero customer service, and a beyond rude owner who has no issue screaming at customers. If I treated a customer that way I wouldn't have any left and I certainly wouldn't expect to get paid. Apart from the charges, we still have wet walls and mold. My husband had to tear out an entire wall himself and get a new company out to service the wall they missed.
