We've used Service Pros many, many times in the past to either repair, replace or install something or other during the past 10 years. But they've seemed to have gotten greedy and have out priced themselves. Too bad. Recently we purchased a new dishwasher and we called them for an estimate to install it and they wanted $150.00 to install a $249.00 dishwasher. We called around and found another plumber/electrician to install it for $75.00. My advice to customers is to call around. And my advice to Service Pros is to check your prices against your competition. read more

I bought an extended warranty for a Frigidaire dishwasher. I called the company I got he warranty from and they said they would contact the repair people and have them call me in 24 to 48 hours later. 24 DAYS later Service Pros finally called me! I called the company I got the warranty through 4 times, they said they talked to the lady at Service Pro twice in person and sent 4 emails. I called Service Pros once and the very rude woman said she had never heard of me or my claim. During my last call to the warranty company they finally said I could call my own guy. Champlain Appliance called me back 12 hours after I called, came to my home 24 hours after I called and are now working with the warranty company to get my dishwasher fixed. I still can't believe it took 24 DAYS to get a call from Service Pro, talk about unprofessional!!! read more

Talk about terrible customer service. Woman who answers the phone is rude and does not return calls. The tech seemed good however 1 1/2 months after fixing my washer it was broken again with the same problem. When I called to get it looked at again the woman was rude, made the comment that it was "quite a while ago" and she couldn't say when they would be able to get out to look at it! read more

My 18-year old refrigerator just stopped making ice yesterday and was not cold. I called Service Pros this morning and while the call was not answered in person I was able to leave a message and received a call back within 10 minutes. I was worried after reading current reviews but received polite, prompt service. Was told the guys would arrive this afternoon as they were out on a call in another town. To my surprise they showed up by 11 a.m. and promptly got to work. The computer board was worn out, they had the correct one in the truck and an hour later we were loading the food back in. Service was prompt and I was very pleased. Thanks to them I didn't lose many dollars in food. read more

After a fashion, they came to see what was wrong with my refrigerator. They said they would order the part and schedule a return date. I got a phone call that quoted me $320.00 and I foolishly agreed.(More than twice the price of any other reputable company for this same repair.) I waited a week, 3 weeks and then after more than a month I called and cancelled all business connections with them. I was told I would have to pay for the first visit, which produced nothing. Horrible customer service. I was replacing my oven door, and I was sent the wrong glass & they were reordering it, they told me they would call me back & never did. When I called about the issue they were extremely rude. Would NOT recommend at all. I wouldn't even give them 1 star, but I didn't have a choice. read more

So far I have been trying to get them to come repair my new refrigerator I bought on November 1st went on the blink on November 15 and here we are 10 days later no word or calls from them or any clue if they got our service call or not General Electric even called them with no answer. This organization does not deserve to be in business in this reviewer's opinion. They make appointments they do not keep and make it their prospective customers' problems to accommodate their woefully inadequate scheduling processes. Their representatives are rude. They depend on unscheduled telephone calls at unpredictable hours to double check that clients will keep prearranged appointments, and they cancel those appointments without warning if a client -- unaware that they have called -- isn't available to get to the phone hours before a confirmed appointment. We can't think of a business -- doctor's office, service agency, even a government agency -- that behaves in this fashion. What's interesting is that these people are on Home Depot's protection plan list of service providers for appliances that include the Maytag brand. We have informed Home Depot. Enough said! We purchased a washer and dryer set from Home Depot, had them installed and went to try out the washer and it doesn't work. Fills up with water and doesn't continue to next cycle. The door isn't responding to the washer saying that it's closed. My mother called the manufacturer and they referred us to Service Pros. We were told that someone would be out on the first available day. We never received a phone call from the technician stating when they would be out. We were told they would be here March 22nd or 23rd, never received a phone call, when we called the morning of March 23rd, we were told that they were not traveling due to snow conditions. We were rescheduled for today March 27th, and were told this morning that the technician who is to come out and do the service work just had surgery and is waiting to be released from the hospital. Overall this process has been a complete mess and we are just receiving the run around. I would NEVER recommend them to any of my friends or family!!!!! read more

I do not recommend this company. So far, they have been three times to repair a refrigerator I purchased from Home Depot. NONE of these times did they show at the agreed upon time! They had a noon appointment, showed up at 10:30 and left a tag, saying I wasn't home. When I questioned why they did not call my cell phone to alert me that they had shown up 1 1/2 hours EARLY, he told me he tried but there's no cell service at my house. The cell tower is directly behind my house on the mountain!!!! To date, the "repaired" refrigerator still makes screaming noises and freezes whatever is on the top and bottom shelves! To date, Home Depot has refused to replace it. read more
