Went to get an inspection, which went alright and isn't really relevant to my rating here. Had…read morethree men working there- One of them mostly handled my inspection and was pretty polite and normal about it, but the other two got into a WILDLY racist exchange, sparked by one of them mentioning Juneteenth being "Black Day" which the other guy called "saying that politely." The first man responded by gesturing to me and saying "Yeah, I'm holding back because I don't know this guy." Some other highlights include mentioning "if Lincoln hadn't freed them, I'd have somebody to mow my lawn", and "you can't let two of 'em get together or there'll be a riot". So, overall a deeply uncomfortable experience.

I was scared to drive it back to Florida Before getting it checked out. So I was googling call shops in the upper Kanawha Valley area and came across Bob's garage. I also asked for recommendations on Facebook. My cousin recommended me taking it to Bob's garage. So I gave them a call, Tammy the front desk receptionist was super friendly and told me to go ahead and bring it in. I brought my car there and they thoroughly checked it out top to bottom front end. They found out that it was a flex pipe issue. They fixed it and also repaired my tire which had a nail in it. I have been to many many businesses and this auto shop is by far the most friendly and efficient auto shop that I have been to. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND taking your vehicle here! They really treat you like family and not a stranger. That makes a big difference. You can do the best work but if you don't have great customer service, it doesn't matter. The group of people who work here are the very best. They are honest, affordable, and will not try to rip you off. If there were more than 5 stars I would give them more.

When I was driving to work early one morning, my transmission seemed to be getting rather hesitant and, for lack of a better term, "grabby." After work the problem had gotten MUCH worse, and I was lucky that my car even GOT me to Link Automotive. Since they couldn't get to my car until the next day, they were kind enough to give me a courtesy drive home. The next day they called to tell me that a couple of transmission cooling lines had to be replaced. I authorized the repairs, they ordered the parts, and a couple of days later my car was driving just fine. They explained that one cooling line had completely rusted through and the other was almost as bad, so I had lost most of my transmission fluid. Worst case scenario was needing a new transmission, but fortunately that was not necessary. So I HIGHLY recomment Link Automative should you ever need transmission work done.
