2012 Sonic 1.4T Was referred to Service on Site by a good friend and his family. Called them, spoke with them and a day later they called me with a full estimate of parts/ labor. They were very accommodating and had my car in and out in a couple days despite the amount of work that was done to it. I'm very satisfied and my car is running better than it used to. Work done: OEM Turbo swap; radiator fan assembly swap, new silicone coolant hoses; new serpentine belt, water pump, thermostat housing, coolant flush + new coolant, oem intake manifold replaced. I live in Redondo Beach and have had a home in Wrightwood for many years. When my 11' Toyota 4runner needed a complete brake job I wanted to support the local Wrightwood community and I'm glad I did. The shop was clean (important) and everyone I dealt with was courteous and friendly. The price was fair and I know if I have any problems they will honor and warranty their work. When I returned to my car my radiator had over flowed. I took my car to SOS and they tested my radiator cap and showed me that it was faulty even though relatively new. They sent me on my way with fluid and a new working cap for $6! Yeah! Thank you both for great service. After being in a car accident I had my car towed here to be fixed with Wrightwood being a small town my mom and I thought they would be honest people and get my car fixed the right way little Did we know they had my car for 2 weeks and did nothing they kept it to get more money out me and my insurance so I did what any normal person would do and tried getting it out of the shop so someone else would fix it when I went there my car was no where to be found after calling the owner we found out my car was at a crack house in Wrightwood after calling the cops the owner had it towed back to their garage where they proceeded to take my whole car apart so they could charge us. I explained my headlights had stopped working, somewhere along the canyon, and I needed a quick soldering on my bike(CBRrr 05). I've had my alternator replaced a few years ago cost around 7 hundred dollars thought that I got a good deal but I inquired about a tune up for a 4 cylinder and they wanted to charge me 450 to 500 dollars now I'm thinking that they overcharge me for the work on the alternator anyways I got my tune up for 140 at Frank's auto repair in Victorville so if you think it about having them work on your car i urge you to get a second opinion. read more

I was recently on my way to Wrightwood when the ignition coil on my Grand Cherokee had other plans. The ignition coil went out about 6 miles before getting to Wrightwood on a Sunday afternoon. I had to get my Jeep towed to the cabin I was staying at and then deal with the ignition coil issue the following morning. I called Service On Site the following morning about 10 minutes after they opened and was greeted by a friendly voice AKA Stacy. I asked Stacy if they are just a repair shop or if they have parts on hand as well? She asked what I was looking for and when I told her I needed an ignition coil she asked me to hold on a minute and she came back to the phone and said that she had a used one if I was interested. I told her that I would really prefer a new ignition coil and asked if she could order one for me? She said that would be no problem at all but asked if I knew for sure that the issue with my Jeep was infact the ignition coil? I explained to Stacy that I Manage an auto repair shop in Burbank and that I was certain it was the ignition coil. She then said that she would go ahead and order the ignition coil for me and that she should have it in about an hour and a half and that she would call me when she got it. She then asked me how I was going to get to their shop to pick up the part. I told her I would just walk over there as it was only about 3/4 of a mile. Stacy then said "no no you dont need to walk down here I will bring it to you." I was pleasantly shocked by her offer to bring it to me as it was about 30 degrees that morning and I really didn't feel like walking a mile and a half (round trip) only to have to work on my Jeep once I got back. About an hour and a half later Stacy called me said that she had the part and she brought it to me just a few minutes later. I installed the part and all was good. So in a nutshell.... Service On Site is a GREAT establishment, and I highly recommend them to anyone that is in Wrightwood and is in need of any auto repair service. Thank you Stacy. read more

The other place stayed after hours to re diagnose the problem and lent me there $300 computer to let me know the engine temp for the weekend.
