We get there and give the notary our licenses, etc., and then he asks if we are customers and we answer no - but we did in fact have a mortgage there in the past, and we were in fact thinking of moving accounts to MVSB. He then had to go find a supervisor and after a 5 minute wait comes back and says no he can't notarize for us. We didn't expect it to be free but the bank would not even accept the customary $5 fee. Sorry MSVB but we are keeping our accounts where they are.

It has now been 12 days since the wire transfer, and Citizens still has not credited and closed the account. They tell us "it's stuck on someone's desk". Starting to look like this may require legal action. In the meantime it appears they are still charging interest on a loan that they have received the money to pay off, and they are not telling us when this will be resolved. I strongly suggest going elsewhere.
