The folks working at SCU are super friendly! The account opening process only took a few minutes. We have been back at the Laconia branch several times to perform other transactions and each time they just couldn't be any nicer or easier to do business with. I have also contacted their telephone customer service and I have received the same high level of service each time. I also use their telephone banking service and it is very convenient. Both my wife and I enjoy doing business with SCU. I don't know why it took us so long to discover them. I hope that they are able to maintain their fantastic service going forward. We get there and give the notary our licenses, etc., and then he asks if we are customers and we answer no - but we did in fact have a mortgage there in the past, and we were in fact thinking of moving accounts to MVSB. He then had to go find a supervisor and after a 5 minute wait comes back and says no he can't notarize for us. We didn't expect it to be free but the bank would not even accept the customary $5 fee. Sorry MSVB but we are keeping our accounts where they are.

Starting to look like this may require legal action.
