That said, after being a little disappointed with my daughter's six-month photo shoot results, I went in search of a new photographer for her nine-month/family session. Luckily for us, we found Tony. He impressed me from the beginning with his responsiveness and the instant willingness to do an outside photo shoot in December. Tony has an amazing eye for detail and carefully explained how he wanted to set up the various shots. He has a way of making you feel at ease and like you're not posing. My husband enjoys photography as a hobby, and Tony was generous with his tips and tricks. The results were amazing! He was able to capture her little personality beautifully. The pictures really are pieces of art-his skill just shines through. His way of capturing the light and the colors is pretty incredible. He answered all our calls, emails and questions promptly throughout the whole process, from booking to receiving our final photos! During our session we discovered how very warm and clearly passionate he is about what he does. We would even go so far as to call him the "baby whisperer". We were so impressed with how gentle and patient he was in handling our 14 day old newborn girl and his ability to swaddle and calm her so adeptly. We were so grateful to have the professional detailed handout on what to expect during the session and how to prepare. It just made it so much easier for us to know how the morning would go and what we could do to make it as pleasant of an experience for our baby and ourselves. On the morning of the shoot he was exactly on time. For us new parents trying to balance preparing with everything from nursing, eating breakfast, getting ready, and twelve other things, it was so appreciated that he was neither early nor late, the timing was just perfect. Tony is nothing if not prepared, he came with his bag of goodies and brought a good variety of baskets, outfits, wraps, backdrops, and even professional lighting equipment for our shoot so that we would receive a variety of unique photos and poses. He even brought a custom travel themed backdrop and setup after we had mentioned how much how much we love to travel! He was very flexible and patient during our shoot and even extended the session since we lost some extra time due to changing, feeding and general fussiness from our newborn. The final images we received are gorgeous! You can see a few of our favorites here, but there are so many beautiful ones... it's hard to pick faves! The family was finally united with my brother just returned from having been deployed to Iraq, and I was about to leave the state for school. Overall, we were pleased with our experience initially with our photographer, the shooting experience and the photos. The 2 stars are for the service I experienced in the present time. Fast forward to 2017, our house has been destroyed in a fire and everything was lost. Naturally, we wanted to get our photos back, and I discover that Pro Image Studios migrated elsewhere. On their web site, I find that they've changed their name to "Creative Imaging." For several weeks, calling the establishment was of little or no avail. I decide to email them which was encouraged on their site. It is acknowledged and appreciated that my correspondent typically replied by the next morning to my emails if not shortly thereafter. My family was strongly interested in buying digital copies of our photos as well as prints since these mattered so much to us. I made a rather large purchase to get a direct download of my digital photos. Their site seemed very disjointed, and sometimes it didn't feel very intuitive to navigate. Every page they sent me looked different from the initial layout. When I purchased a package to directly download, the confirmation page gave no instructions on how to receive my product. I felt I had to bother my correspondent to clarify this, and she said they would be available within a week. Then came several days of confusion and frustration reaching out to this person that the photos were inaccessible. She insisted that there was nothing wrong. I got the impression she was blaming me for the trouble rather than troubleshooting the problem properly. After entertaining her by trying and re-trying, then re-trying again on 2 computers and 5 different browsers for several days, she finally decided to burn the photos onto a CD to be mailed. I believe their photography skills are professional. But their inability to admit fault, to apologize for the inconvenience of not being able to receive my product in a timely manner, or to troubleshoot adequately the problem without placing blame on the customer's end is the reason why I gave two stars. Further, this was the first time sharing with a professional establishment that no one expressed sympathy for having lost our belongings to a house fire. Not that that particularly means anything, but it's just an observation of indifference in stark contrast to other businesses where we've had to re-order something to replace whatever was lost to a fire. My encounter with Pro Image Studios/Creative Imaging was overall a negative experience. We were not impressed with the way it was handled over email, and we chose not to get prints from them. I also found it unprofessional that their site was visually unappealing with numerous typos. At end of these encounters, I did get my photos. I am grateful that my business with them is done.

My cropped out home photos that I'd been using were clearly not going to cut it. In a panic I scoured the internet and came across Brian's work. He managed to book me in at short notice and gave me tons of good advice in preparing. The shoot itself was a lot of fun, and it really felt like we we collaborating together to get the perfect headshot. His photos were instantly loaded up onto a computer screen so we could scroll through and tag the good ones together and change looks and outfits. Brian made me feel very relaxed and comfortable.
