Awesome place if you want a great passport photo, since you have to keep it for 10 years, it might as well be a good picture. I got a set from Walgreens initially and it looked like I was being processed for jail or something, horrible. I read many reviews on Yelp and decided to go with Jeni because I had read a positive review about someone having their graduation photos taken by Jeni. I had an amazing time! I'm so happy I found this studio - somewhat by chance actually - when I needed to take Canadian passport photos. I was able to make an appointment for the same day at my lunch time. 10 minutes later I had professionally taken passport photos that met all the Canadian passport requirements (quite a list actually!) Wow. I am very impressed. After being given 24 hours notice about needing a professional headshot, I called Grace Photography in a tizzy. Jeni whisked me in the next morning, and an hour later I had a series of great photos to choose from. Jeni and her assistant helped me select one that was professional, confident, and upbeat. Then she did some photoshop magic, which was a self-esteem booster to be sure. The prices were reasonable and Jeni was very personable. Can I tell you how much I hate having my picture taken? Well, it's a lot. I hate it a whole lot. I am launching a new website for my business so I need photos of me as well as the other folks on my team. We tried another photographer a few months back - nice guy, but awful results. I needed a head shot for my college alumni association. I had the option to either have a friend take a photo or get one professionally done. Since I don't have a picture on my LinkedIn profile, I decide it was a good investment to have a professional pic. I'm not photogenic, I always hate pictures of myself. Jenni was absolutely great to work with. I was very stiff at times and she reminded to breathe and smile. She got about 60 shots and she helped me pick out the perfect photo. She has a great eye. She easily described each pic into a specific category.....too stiff, too sexy, too happy or a perfect professional shot. I completely understood where she was coming from. I selected two shots that were very different styles (one professional, one happy with a "twinkle" in my eye) since it's good to have a variation. Jenni also did quick/light touch ups to remove the dark circles and bags under my eyes. She really freshened my face up. I highly recommend Grace Image. I DO NOT recommend this place at all. Frankly, I'm shocked at the number of good reviews for this place. But I do tend to look at how many reviews people have done and if it's just 1 review and its 5 stars for the Co. it's most likely just their friend reviewing for them. I went here to take passport photos and the photographer was really rude. She was nice up until the photos were taken but afterwards when I needed to pay she was really impatient like I was wasting her time being there. The prices charged were pretty high and when I inquired about having taking a second picture because I didn't like the first I was told I had to pay full price again. It doesn't take that much effort and cost to snap another picture. Poor business etiquette in my opinion. I regret not just waiting for the weekend and going to my local place and rushing here to take the pictures. read more

I work for a tech company that still believes in wearing blazers for corporate photographs. I had been putting this off for years despite the fact that my current photo was ugly and sweaty looking. I tend to put myself together nicely for work so I must have had a mental block on it or something. When I arrived Howard was there. I asked "where is Jeni" and he said she had an emergency. I hadn't met her before but still thought "who is this guy?" Have to say I really dug Howard. He made the whole experience fun... had to take a headshot photo for work at the last minute (this even required buying a new blazer since i took the picture on a friday, when it's casual dress at the office!) luckily, grace image was able to schedule a same-day appointment for me and it's only a couple of blocks away... jeni is a magician! i absolutely hate taking pictures because i'm not one of those "photogenic" people, and she managed to put me at ease and make the process as painless as possible. she helped with my makeup (thank god, since i wear little more than tinted moisturizer - for the spf - blush, mascara and gloss) and her expertise as a former makeup artist definitely came through. she even took the time to groom my brows! then she selected the right angles and lighting and managed to make me relax and even smile such that the photos didn't come across as too stiff or posed. the best part was watching jeni work her magic on the computer - a little fading here, nip & tuck there...now i know what it's like to be airbrushed! incredibly professional and friendly at the same time - i'd love to return to her if i ever had a chance. she does weddings for anyone who's interested! read more

Her and I went back and forth via email so I could tell here where I was going to do it, what time, etc. and they made it happen. Like the secret service protecting the Prez, Jeni had another person assist her in staking out the spot incognito so my lady wouldnt know. Then they sprang into action- I went down on one knee and they caught it all on - so great! We felt like we were at Cannes with the Paparazzi filming us!
