Our family had such a lovely time during our session with Tumay, who turned around the photos the next day! She was accommodating to our requests (a spot with a more urban feel that works with a non-walking toddler) and suggested Pier 7 for our photo session. In my search for a family photographer, Tumay's work immediately caught my eye. I liked the style, intimacy and emotion captured in her photos and knew that I wanted her to capture memories of our growing family. She was very responsive and friendly in our communication, and the booking process was easy. She was completely inclusive of our story and was authentically engaged with us, asking about our son Jude who was stillborn in 2019. Update: We loved Tumay so much that we booked 3 more sessions to take photos of our baby as he grows up. Literally 5 minutes before our second session, our child cut his lip open. He was crying and simply not ready for a photo session. Tumay graciously offered to reschedule, despite the fact that she had just driven across town to meet us at the shoot location. We can't express how grateful we are for this kind flexibility and empathy! AND on top of that she still managed to take a handful of adorable shots when we were comforting the baby. This is the second time she's been able to capture incredible images despite not-perfect conditions (see my first review) -- truly an incredible artist that knows exactly how to work with small children. Decided to get married at City Hall in San Francisco to keep it simple. So I decided to get photographs taken. Tiny Forest popped up as a sponsored ad on my FaceBook. The ad was a couple getting married at City Hall in San Francisco and the photos looked great. So I contacted Tumay and her price was reasonable and in my budget. Tumay was professional and even early so we were able to get plenty of shots before the ceremony. She knew all the best spots so we were able to move quickly and get a bunch of great shots. Which also worked perfect because I was crying and messed up my make-up a little and I would not have wanted to take many photos after. I received an email 3-4 days later saying the photos were ready to be viewed after she said it would take about a week. I could not be happier with how the photos turned out. My family had an incredible experience with Tumay for two different portrait sessions. She photographed a newborn session in May 2020 and a one year family portrait session in April 2021. In May of 2020 it was in the middle of the pandemic but Tumay came prepared with a face mask and made the session very easy and comfortable.
