Me and my grandfather before he passed away at 91 used to come to Gardena when I was a little kid…read moreand I used to go here a lot. Today, I decided to make a review. This store had my favorite Japanese enka cds I used to listen to in the car, I don't see them in here today. Now I see labubu, anime books and tv show tapes and anime toys. I also saw a ton of movies in dvd form like blue ray and 4k he collections. I bought straw dogs today and looked around a lot. They had a nice environment. Similar to GameStop but cleaner and friendlier staff. All Japanese staff and the people in Gardena are also Asian. Some nerdy fellas also went to look and Nintendo switch games. I'm talking the top nerdy ones. Service was great and the environment is so pleasant I love the stuff in the store, you can't get it near where I live an hour away in Stevenson ranch Santa Clarita. Once every 10 years I'll try to come when I have time. But now more so since I'm finally on my own, but need someone to go with. Anyway life is short so live it to the fullest like my grandpa. He's with the gods now. As for enjoyment purposes, a lot of fan service. Waifus and fan service toys. Pretty solid price though but my cousin collects them and they collect dust so I don't think they will be good unless you like that sort of stuff but maintaining them is tough. Enjoyed the books too. They had explicit books with furries, not a fan of it but very interesting to say the least. I can't find other store that have these books and exclusive toys. Overall, I would love to shop here had they had one near where I live, I just happened to be around in the area today and remembered this place and wanted to drive by to take a look at how things changed here. For the most part, they keep up to date with the times. I remember back when beanie babies were sold here. Now labubus. Overall, if you come by Gardena area, make sure not to miss this hidden diamond. Even if you're not into Japanese stuff, a great place to observe products that can't be sold anywhere other than here and maybe some online retailers.

Pluses: This is probably one of the better Book Off locations. Good variety of secondhand items…read more(note - they do have a magazine section which isn't secondhand), numerous old manga, and for the record collectors, some noteworthy vinyl (not a big selection and it's predominantly Japanese pop music). The store does well as a retro game store although you may have better luck with their Little Tokyo location. This will not have the feel of a Goodwill. It's far better. Also, I came here to sell some old games dating back to PS2 era and got a decent quote. A bit surprised. NOTE - your own case may vary, and they didn't take everything. Surprisingly they didn't take some old DVD's sets I had and I didn't have many. Minuses: This isn't a retro game store and it shows. Not many old game consoles available (Hard-Off does, and I believe Hard Off, which is part of the Book Off chain, is Japan only for now). Also, be realistic with what you have. Not everything will be eligible to be resold. Many old books and old anime titles likely won't make it. Although my quote was higher than I expected they didn't take some anime I had from the early 2000s (not very popular). In short, Book Off Gardena should be a very decent place to find what you are looking for. Now I can only wish Book Off brings Hard Off to the U.S. so that we can buy old cameras!

She looked very bothered after I purchased wheels from her business and I even asked very kindly and respectfully if she could grip my board and she complained. As I was there working on my board , a couple of teenagers came in and she changed her attitude and energy towards them and made them feel welcomed but continued to be rude towards me and even muttered to the kids badly about me . Came to the shop because it was the only area that had the wheels I was looking for so I was really stoked to come in upon entering, she was really helpful and nice. I then asked her if she can help me with my grip tape and she seemed a little bothered. I stayed at the shop to work on my board because I figured I can just swap out the wheels I purchased . I grew up going to shops and hanging out in spaces where skateboarders are welcomed, but this is the first time where I felt like a burden for staying. They had younger folks coming in hanging out at the shop and I overheard her complain about how I had over stayed my welcome. I realize that I was getting treated like I was bothering her business. I asked her if there's anyway I can bother her for back to throw in my old wheels and she seem to be bothered stating that she didn't have any extra bags and mumbled it on her breath and handed me a bag with so much annoyance that I immediately left after that. This is not the space for skaters , I recommend going else where.

Been to my fair share of shows at the Kia Forum and every time attending, I was never disappointed…read more Although every show is different, procedure, security, and staff remains more or less, the same. What I love about the Kia Forum is how historic they're. Outside the arena consist of plenty of food vendors, always give them a look when you're visiting. Inside the arena has vendors as well. What's different about the Kia Forum is the lighting inside before heading to your seats. Very dark like you're walking into a movie theaters seating. Restrooms are clean and all around the arena as well. There's indoor ones as well as underground outdoor ones. Seats itself are pretty standard, not too tight nor too spaced out. I'd say the only con about the Kia Forum is the expensive parking. Lowest I've seen is $25 but it can go up to as highest as $85 as I've seen in person before. Aside from that, clean arena, very spacious and plentiful of parking, friendly staff, and not too congested even if there's a fully sold out show. -- Shows I've attended at Kia Forum -- GOT7 Tour 2018/2019 Loosemble Showcase 2023 IVE - Show What I Have - World Tour 2024 BABYMONSTER - Hello Monsters Tour 2025 Aespa SYNK: PARALLEL LINE 2025 Overall, always a great vibe at the Forum, a very historic arena that's a must visit whenever visiting LA. Great arena overall with plenty of food around the arena as well.

Love watching concerts here. I refuse to watch it at another venue because for the price you pay,…read moreyou can't get any better being close without pulling an arm or leg. I have watched Michael Buble, Ed Sheeran, Ariana Grande, Justin Timberlake, Jingle Ball, Jonas Brothers, AJR, Shawn Mendes, KNOTB & Paula Abdul and many more artists. One that got canceled was Camila Cabello's due to COVID. Seating: I've had seats from the floor all the way up to the boonies. The further you go up, the seats become tighter and you do not have a drink holder so be aware that spillage of drinks will come down the floor and you may be stepping into stickiness. Also just be aware when you purchase seats that you do not purchase one that says "partial view obstructed". Otherwise you'll enjoy the concert no matter what. Parking: arrive early and get your prepaid parking. It's mostly a quick in and out. The longest one that took to get out was the AJR concert. The bathrooms are all downstairs which is kinda hard if you're ADA. Time it right so that you don't miss the act you're seeing. Food: stay away from their nachos. We had that and it was gross. You are safe with all the other snacks. Merch: Depending on the artist it should be located all throughout the venue. Inside and outside. But there are those people who sell the knock offs if your on a budget. Support your artist though people! Then buy a knock
