As a bonafide dental phobic, I carried around a newspaper ad for 6 months before I called. It had said in the ad that they cater to cowards like me. I only wish I had called as soon as I read the ad. The positivity begins with your initial phone call, with Erica. It then moves to Celeste, who taught me in depth, how to actually floss my teeth. I then saw the wonderful Dr. Eric, who immediately did a cancer screening. Actually, Celeste had already performed it and I told him so. I was so impressed because my own brother is dying from oral and neck cancer, which was not picked up in time. Dr. Eric told me that he had taught all of his dental assistants to do it, just in case he forgot. Not likely! He remembers everything! Today, I came back for my 6 month checkup and cleaning. This time I came in a wheelchair, because I had a stroke in May. Everyone there, especially Alyenca and Celeste made sure that my husband was assisted while lifting me into the chair. Then Dr. Eric, ever the absolute professional, informed me that I could not have my cleaning, until at least 6 months after my stroke. He then gave me a medical clearance form for my Cardiologist. He and his staff were going to contact her, but since I will see her first I volunteered. At the end of my visit, after hugs all around, I signed my husband up for his first checkup in years. Serenity Smile Designs is, without a doubt, a fantastic facility with a fantastic staff. My husband and his family have been seeing Dr. Frost for the past 25 years and we all have nothing but raves about his utterly fantastic demeanor and gentle hands. I could gush about Dr. Frost for hours on end. When I walk into Serenity Smiles, Andrea and Erica always greet me by name, even when I walk in without an appointment or forewarning. It means the world that they show me such a wonderful sense of respect and kindness through something so many in their profession do not take the time for- remembering me not only as a patient but as a person! Then there is Celeste. Oh, how we adore this hygienist. She is such a bright and beautiful person! She gives every single ounce of her attention and time to her patients, just as Dr. Frost does. She is relatable, funny, gentle, and a fantastic teacher concerning the art of "flossing"- I might add. Serenity Smiles has given me an entirely new outlook on "dentistry" and I no longer fear my dental appointments. Quite the contrary, I look forward to my appointments! As a busy mom of 3, I rarely have the opportunity to relax. I am so very grateful I can relax and enjoy one of my "errands" in life. VERY Professional, VERY Welcoming, VERY happy with my decision to switch to this dental office. I needed a new dentist and tried this office/dentist based off its yelp reviews. I could not be happier. As we all know changing dentist's can be a stressful decision because lets face it, most of us are petrified of going to the dentist. I did not know what to expect but my expectations were met and then some. The office is extremely modern, clean and up to date with all the latest equipment. They use digital xrays (Side note: There's a healthy plus to digital imaging vs old school film imaging; as Digital Imaging emits a lower dose of radiation.-For all you nonmedical field people out there). The staff was uber welcoming and made me feel so comfortable. I am very glad I gave this office a try. We recently took our daughter to Dr. Erik for a consultation for some cosmetic work. His office staff was very friendly and pleasant. The office was very high tech, having ipads to sign in and fill out insurance info,then letting you use it while waiting to be called back. After a very short wait, we were called back to meet Dr. Erik and his staff of assistants. They were all very nice and made us feel very comfortable. After doing his exam and taking very detailed xrays, he sat and explained all of our options at length, answering all of our questions, never once making us feel rushed. He even offered to contact my daughter's orthdontist to coordinate her treatment. I felt this was above and beyond what a usual consultation would include. After our visit, we feel very comfortable with our choice and would definitely recommend Dr. Erik to anyone looking for a new dentist. read more

Serenity Smile Designs is Awesome!!!!! Love it there! Great staff! Not only were they able to provide everything they promised me, they went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations.I was seen almost as soon as I walked in the door. I didn't have to reorganize my day around my appointment at all. The waiting room here is spacious. I never feel like I have to sit too close to someone or that it is overcrowded. They make an extra effort to get to know their patients and find out what they need. They always remember me and make me feel very important. I've been other places that left me unattended for quite awhile, but not here. They would never leave me unattended and they always go the extra mile to make me feel cared for. My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Erik Mendelsohn since he opened his practice in Egg Harbor Township. Never before have I looked forward to going to the dentist in all of my life. As soon as you enter the building, you get a feeling of people who really are concerned with your well-being, not just a name in the appointment book. Best dentist office all around, especially in for those with anxiety. From the moment I walked in, every single person felt like family. From the front desk, to the docs, assistants, and Jenny in billing- everyone is wonderful. I had a full reconstruction, and it turned out amazing. I get compliments everywhere and I tell them all it was Dr Erik. I also have severe anxiety surrounding dental work and every visit they handled my anxiety with extreme care, giving me a blanket, and making sure I was ok throughout every visit. I'm writing this review because I am very happy with Serenity Smile. I just had a cleaning yesterday and once again, I am so happy with the on time service. Celeste, my hygienist is the BEST! She makes me feel so welcomed and comfortable. She does the most thorough cleaning I ever had. I feel like I've known her forever. I highly recommend my hygienist, Anna! She makes the whole experience so easy! From the very beginning to the very end, she is pleasant, and always smiling. I am a nervous patient. She explains everything to me in terms you can understand. The office staff are also all very pleasant as well. My experiences with the dentists have all been positive. I will admit that I was a bit overwhelmed with this dentists use of current technologies at first; but I see now that a comprehensive program of care is now in place and that the dentist (Dr. Eric) is receptive to designing a dental repair program around the patients desired budget.
