Michelle cut my hair and it was one of the best cuts I've ever had. I had a couple of photos of hair styles I liked and she gladly looked at them and said my hair could be cut like I wanted. I want to start out by saying that I tried to bring my experience, concerns, and feelings to the business owners attention. After a week of being told I'll receive a call back (with no call back), Shelby being out of the salon, and them just not answering their phone, I'm forced to leave an online review, which I really tried to avoid. I was in this salon on my wedding day and I left very unhappy and very uncomfortable. If you care to read the details, I'll leave them below. It is my understanding this salon is run by Holly and Shelby. Holly did my hair on my wedding day (6/11/22). From the moment I walked in, it was apparent they had no idea I was a bride or if that mattered. Holly had mentioned they don't really do brides or bridesmaids and mentioned she wasn't sure who booked the appointment. (The website says they do weddings though?) Whoever I booked the appointment with knew I was a bride and I would only have my maid of honor there with me. As we got started, Holly just made comments here and there of how long my hair was, how many products and how much of the products were needed, the pins and Bobby pins, etc. It was just very unnecessary in my opinion. It just felt like she didn't want to be doing my hair. I felt bad sitting in the chair and I shouldn't have felt that way. My appointment was at 10:45 and somehow a 12:00 was booked after me, which is completely fine, not upset about that. The upsetting part was that, Holly yelled over me, to the other customer and said something along the lines of "yeah it's going to be a few more minutes, she just has 20X the amount of hair of you and I combined." No joking tone, no little laugh, just straight up. Again, making me feel bad and uncomfortable. Because of this other customer waiting, I feel she rushed to curl my hair. Yes she pinned the curls, but they still fell 2 hours later. I only got my hair done because my MOH wanted her done. I should have just done what I originally planned and done my hair myself. My hair has no problem holding a curl so I don't know what happened. The overall experience left a terrible taste in my mouth and that's when I decided to reach out to Shelby (6/15/22) and just explain my experience. I told her that if I were her, I would want to know about my customers experience and especially a co-owner making a bride feel terrible. While speaking with Shelby, there was no apology, there was no sympathy, and basically invalidated my feelings that it "just doesn't sound like Holly." I was told she would speak with Holly and call me back. On 6/16/22, I called again and was told Shelby was out of the salon. On 6/17/22 I called multiple times and no one ever answered. I have never had this bad of an experience, both the day of and the days after while trying to resolve this internally. No this did not ruin my wedding day but it wasn't great to feel uncomfortable for over an hour while paying for a service on the most important day of my life. I really hope this review brings some attention to my concerns and hopefully they treat other customers better than they treated me. I do not recommend this salon for anyone, especially brides. read more

I made an appointment for 1030am with Holly last week to come in this morning for a consultation at the new salon across the street from where I live. I arrived 5 min early and I walked in and both owners where there with clients. Neither said: "Hi we'll be with you or do you have an appointment, good morming"? I sat on couch for 13 minutes and never did either make any eye contact or say anything to me. After that I walked out. Girls you aren't the only salon in the area so you might want to acknowledge new people who come in for services if you are trying to build your new business. read more

Went here the other day to get my nails done since I've been looking for a place locally. They don't do acrylic (which is totally fine!) they do all natural. The price was great and the lady Mary was SO nice. She made me feel welcomed and cared for and we had great conversations. The salon is also super cute and cozy! I felt completely ignored in more ways than one. Went in for a hair cut, was specific about what I wanted and what I wanted to avoid. My hair was cut like I was a child, I am now rocking a blunt cut which is exactly what I didn't want. I have to go to a new salon to pay for another hair cut to fix the one that was done here. I also felt the people who work here only care to gossip to each other, making it feel like I was the odd one out. Would NOT have even mentioned that if the haircut turned out alright. My spouse who also got a hair cut here is miserable with how it turned out. I wasn't going to review- but the fact that I have had my hair tied in a bun for the past few months just hoping it will grow out nicely - and it still looks bad- this place deserves someone letting them know that they are disappointed. It legit looks like I took scissors to my own gear and chopped all my hair off myself. read more
