My fiance and I are on the "goth" side and very nerdy and decorate our house with lots of little rocks and things we buy at oddity expos and books and decorations from all different religions and mythologies. We're not religious ourselves, but we have a sort of witchy "every day is Halloween" aesthetic. The first time they came out they dropped and broke a geode slice that was on a shelf. We didn't find out until later when we got a text from the office manager about it. It would have been nice if they had let us know while they were here. We had told them up front to not bother with dusting all of the little trinkets and items we have on shelves because there's a lot and some of them are fragile. They offered to discount our bill the amount the geode cost, but then they apparently forgot and didn't do that. The second time they sent out a completely different cleaning crew so we had to show them around the house all over again and explain where everything was. They cleaned and left, again did an ok job, nothing particularly good or bad. Then we got an email saying that they wouldn't be back to clean for us. The reason they gave was that their cleaners are all Catholic or Christian and felt uncomfortable in our home.
