Sure, they seemed like a good idea when we bought the place, but that was also before I went to Forsyth Fabrics (as well as on-line shops) to get a quote for making window coverings for that amount of glass. I nearly cried. Enter Stacey. A friend of mine saw a write up about her business on Daily Candy and forwarded me the information - cannot thank that friend enough. After exchanging a few emails (with pictures and fabric names I'd already selected) Stacey came out, talked about my project and brought hope back to my life. Not only is she a specialist in windows of this size (can't say the same for anyone else in town) but she had wonderful ideas and an amazingly calm demeanor. I couldn't wait to work with her, and I'm so glad I did! We took delivery of our first set of curtains/draperies today and they look amazing. Amazing. She had the foresight to suggest two feet of matching canvas on the bottom hem to protect the investment from the kitties who rule our home. Who else could you say that about? Did I mention she came in at less than half the price of previous quotes with like - quadruple the value? That she's cute as a button and sweet to-boot? That when I'd selected a crappy fabric that was the lovechild of a pair of nylons and a potato sack that she went all Tim Gunn on it's fabric derriere?
