Checked them out on Facebook too, since they have no number listed on Yelp or google, reached out on FB messenger to the Business and I was connected to a lady named Stacie. She informed me that you have to set up your appointment with her through an app called StyleSeat ... It's basically a Yelp for hair, nails, waxing, eyelashes, and pretty much everything beautifying. I'm not sure if all the technicians here at HOB use this app for scheduling appointments? But the app itself even has lots of reviews and pictures too, plus Stacie gave me her Instagram to check out even more of her work, and I was sold lol.... She really has some talent! So everything is by appointment through the app only. And it's really easy to use. So my appointment date rolls around. Stacie informed me VIA text she was a little behind and if I could come 30.mins later, sure no problem. Arrived and sent her the text that I was there (since she informed me they keep the doors locked for safety reasons) and she lets me in... The place is a little house that's been transformed into a salon, and each room has its own little station, it's super cute,, fun, clean and comfortable. I loved it. And Stacie was very easy to talk to, super sweet and friendly, And she understood what I wanted, even kept asking me little details to make sure she did what I wanted too!... and I'd say she delivered! she brought my hair back to life! lol. I was so happy with her work. She has the hands of a machine when it comes to blow drying your hair, lol. I've never seen such movement with a hairbrush and blow dryer before. Haha! I was arranged with Rosary, who was not only amazing at what she does, but also so kind, friendly, welcoming and felt like home. She did not only give me the haircut that I wanted and asked for but she also fixed the haircut that the other salon butchered. So grateful for her and her magic hands! So talented, I feel that she could cut and highlight my hair with her eyes closed. Front counter, friendly-ish. Overall, the salon is clean and seems very drama-free which is a nice change. And, I was taken in on time for my appointment. At other places, at times I was left sitting waiting 45 min to be seen as the stylists ran late most time being double and triple booked. Nice products at the front(they sell Skinceuticals skin care!) and low pressure sales felt. I bought a really good L'Oreal shampoo in a peach colored bottle that Jaime used on me. It was at a great price point. The cost of the appointment was very reasonable although there was a $15 treatment done that I had not Ok'd but I feel it was an honest mistake. The only other thing I would change is that we lost 75 cents making my appointment on line. What, why? Weird. Will call it in next time. The stylists Amber turned my moms hair red and charged my mom despite the services NOT even being close to what my mom wanted and now she wants to charge my mom even more to fix the mistake. The business owner is claiming the stylists are only provided a booth space and are responsible for any damages they cause NOT her business. I have disputed the charges and will be filing complaints with the cosmetology board on everyone involved to ensure this does NOT happen to anyone else. We will NOT be going back and we sure WILL NOT be recommending anyone got to this salon for ANY services.
