My favorite coffee spot in North Dakota!! The morning team is awesome! Their breakfast sandwich bagels are THE best (with garlic pesto cream cheese.. to die for)! Side note: The only times I've noticed where the line goes to the road & is a little slower.. it's usually Alicia at the window taking orders. Anyone else, the line seems to speed up more. We just moved here from Texas. I have been searching for a drive thru coffee spot that would bring some comfort and I've found the spot. The menu is endless, It was so hard to choose one but I went with the Caramel Macchiato Frappe and it did not disappoint. The line can get pretty long but they are so quick and it is worth the wait. The customer service was great and I was given a punch card so I can get a free drink in the future. So happy to have found this place read more

This review is specifically for the indoor part of the cafe. It's not very accessible, and I got the impression that they didn't actually want customers ordering or sitting in there, despite the room full of indoor tables and comfortable chairs. First of all, it was difficult to find the entrance. I walked around the building a couple times, and finally walked into the barbecue joint next door to ask directions. Turns out the entrance is through the same door as the BBQ place. But you have to squeeze yourself through a 6-inch-wide opening that is mostly blocked by the BBQ place's menu sign to get into the coffee shop area (this would not work at all for wheelchair users). Second, there is no menu on the wall inside. There is apparently a paper menu that they will hand you if you ask, but they ignored me for so long that by the time I finally got someone's attention to place my order, I didn't want to risk losing it again by looking at a menu, so I just ordered something I could see that they had (mint tea -- it was fine). Third, the indoor order window is so high up in the wall that the baristas can only see the top of your head. This makes it easy to ignore customers... which they did. (This arrangement would also not work at all for a wheelchair user or even someone short.) That brings me to my final gripe -- while I recognize that they do have a long line for their drive through, I stood there for 10 minutes before they even acknowledged me. I was starting to wonder if I was invisible! I've worked at a busy coffee shop before, so I get it, but it doesn't take much effort to give a customer a quick, "we'll be with you in just a minute, thanks for your patience." I was about about 30 seconds away from giving up and going elsewhere by the time they acknowledged me. If you can actually get them to give you a drink, the chairs are comfortable and it's a good place to sit. They have good wifi if you can find an employee who knows the password (that took some work). This place didn't feel at all friendly or welcoming. It's probably fine for the drive-through, as that seems to be their primary business, but this wouldn't be my first choice on my neck visit to Dickinson. read more

coffee was GREAT and so was the service!! the power went out in the middle of them making our sandwiches, and they were super apologetic and gave us cash back for them since they weren't able to make them. they have so many different drink and food options, I got an iced vanilla latte and my boyfriend got a nitro cold brew and they were both great :) stopped here on our way through on a road trip and we are super happy we did! I am a diehard Starbucks fan and my latte was honestly better than a starbs one read more

Great little coffee shop. The first time we stopped here I believe I had the oreo frappe. The second time we stopped I had the Unicorn frappe. Both were good and I look forward to trying more drinks here. read more

We stopped as we were passing through town. Staff was super friendly, let us take our dog on the patio and brought him a treat. Food was absolutely delicious. So fresh. One of the best bagels I've ever had. Coffee was great! Highly recommend! read more

I ordered two drinks and then asked the lady "can I snag two packets of stevia from you as well" instead they put two packets each in each drink. I don't know where I went wrong in my order but I don't like my coffee to taste like sugar I like it to taste like coffee. I explained this mishap to the owner when she brought my drinks out and her solution was to give me an extra shot. She rudely did so with a snarky ugly attitude making me feel as if I was at fault, and I should be thankful she didn't charge me for this extra shot that is just shy over a dollar. The shot didn't even do anything for the two drinks. There's a lot of coffee shops in this town, best sticking with any of those other options. read more

Serendipity is a nice find in Dickinson. The atmosphere is generally warm and inviting, with fun and funky artwork displayed on the wall. I've visited 3 times now - twice when I came to visit the town, and now again on my first day as a new resident. On one of my visits it was very crowded but the Reuben was well worth the wait. Coleslaw is uninspired and appears to be store bought. They also make a good green tea latte - a lot of coffee shops don't do that well. Lots of hot tea options as well - much appreciated! read more

Serendipity was a real treat to find in Dickinson. The atmosphere was wonderful; the funky decor, the great music. It was a cozy atmosphere to relax in. I had the Turkey Cranberry wrap with cream cheese which was tasty with chips. I also got a bite of the Maui Maui wrap with chicken, feta and mandarin oranges which was delightfully tropical. Everyone in our party enjoyed their sandwiches and sides, served quickly. I also had a caramel macchiato which was hands down better than the ones I usually get from Starbucks. I will definitely be heading back as I have been looking for a funky sandwich shop to hang out in on the weekends and Serendipity is the first sandwich/coffee shop I've found to have Saturday hours. Overall, my favorite find in Dickinson so far, just beating out Stix 'n Twigs Cafe. read more

This coffee shop seemed out of place for the area but I guess it was there for the nearby university. The inside of the shop was really cute with decorations on the wall. Outdoor seating was available. There were a lot of coffee options as well as breakfast, lunch and pastries such as bagels, soups, sandwiches, and baked goods. read more

I just moved into town for school, and I love the location! Its nearby the university and the Rec Center. Decor is great, coffee is great, and the food is good too. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the service is slow. I would suggest calling in food orders. I love the wraps! And the Coffee Toffee Frappe is great :) Definitely worth stopping in. read more

Opens at 6 but not really. We couldn't figure out where to even enter and the doors were locked. So we tried the drive thru and asked for a menu and she said she didn't have one. So my husband ordered a coffee and it was pretty freakin gross. Overall this was a bust. read more

Yum! This was a great find while I was on vacation! The coffee was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the heath bar frappe. I also tried the peanut butter bliss which was also good. This place got me rehooked on coffee! The only downside is they open at 6am and later on the weekends, which for an earlier traveler like myself is a little too late! read more

We happen to camp nearby last night and needed some good coffee and breakfast. Though options were limited for 'real' breakfast, what I had was very good! A spinach feta bagel with bacon egg and cheese. I had a plain latte which also met my picky coffee standards. Overall a great place. read more

Love this place.... Wonderful owners and a family owned business. I have been going here since they moved to dickinson and were located down the street from where they are now. I am so sad to hear they are closing the dining room and only serving coffee and beverages through the drive through. I will miss the delicious food and soups! This place was my lifesaver this morning. I refuse to drink gas station or McDonald's coffee so I was happy to see this place opened early and had a drive through! Serendipity's iced vanilla latte is better than Starbucks and I'm a Starbucks lover! Looked like they had a lot of delicious fraps and teas on their menu as well.
