Leticia and Seby were excellent and very attentive to everything. Leticia was especially helpful and even stayed a bit later offering to help us take down tables and other things, which wasn't necessary because we had a crew of our own people there ready to do it.. She was outstanding. I really appreciated everything she did and also offering to help us after hours. I also appreciated the Event Coordinator's excpertise and help (Emily Delauter) in many areas, as I have never planned a big event before! She was extremely responsive and helpful. The food was a huge hit--charcuterie and crab cakes for appetizers, followed by a buffet that included a fresh mixed-greens salad with berries and feta, tender beef with horseradish mousse, chicken piccata with lemon and capers, au gratin potatoes, green beans almondine, and saffron rice. Everything was flavorful, well timed, and beautifully presented. What really stood out was working with Lisa Sheppard and her team. They were friendly, professional, and incredibly calm throughout the entire process. It made such a difference on a busy wedding day to know we were in good hands. We selected a more picnic oriented menu with sandwiches and salads. We didn't even try the food -probably a mistake, but we don't regret it, tasted wonderful. We felt a little uneasy about the spotty communication and had to keep reminding ourselves that they are professionals and know what they are doing. Which they are. The day of staff were invisible. We kept talking afterward about how we barely saw them doing all the magic that they did. This is much to their compliment. Everything went so smoothly and we weren't pestered with questions all day...for once! I also want to note that they served us through incredible circumstances. We got married the day after 2million people lost power in that storm. We didn't have electricity at the venue, they didn't have it at Legends, BUT they pulled it off with the integrity of their business upheld and furthered. They were maybe 10 minutes late, but so was everyone else.

This week I went back for lunch. They have some nice combos with a drink, two empanadas, and a baked item. I went with a beef empanada, a ham & cheese empanada, and the pistachio cheesecake. Empanadas are great. They're baked and have a flaky crust. You can also get chimichurri on the side. I went with the mild and it's delicious. Adds a ton of flavor without overpowering. It's a nice, fresh, herbal kick. I think the beef was my favorite of these two, but I'd get both again. The cheesecake was also tasty. Dense, but not too heavy. Pistachio is relatively mild, but the addition of the nuts on top gave some more impact. I was trying to figure out what is on top, almost like a fondant, but I'm not sure. I'd like to try some other flavors.
