I was initially reluctant to go, thinking it was primarily for athletes. I'm about the furthest thing from an athlete there could be, but my husband urged me to give it a try after having thrown my back out (he had gone for a neck issue and loved it). I could barely stand up, let alone straight. It took me 5 min just to stand from sitting, winced in pain with every step, and was practically in tears when I walked in. I wanted them to do something immediately to fix it and honestly wanted to take the guy's head off for making me walk for him to assess me. I was near tears as he was figuring out what was wrong with me. I had my appointment scheduled there at 10:30am, and had an appointment with my MD at 1:40pm that afternoon to see about anti-inflammatories and muscle relaxers. I was even skeptical when Dr. Chad Barnes, who was working with me, had me simply lean against the wall and do ONE exercise...and that was it. He instructed me to do 10 of them an hour, every hour. I did that, writhing in pain, every hour until my Dr appointment. By the time I got to my MD appointment, I honestly didn't feel like I needed meds. I know that sounds positively crazy, but I was actually MOBILE by the time I made it the MDs office. I was so excited that I told her about it, and she wanted to know what they had me doing that had relieved my pain so much, so fast. I showed it to her, and she said "Well, there's certainly no harm in that! Keep doing what you're doing if it's working". I got the meds anyway, just in case. I used the muscle relaxers a couple of nights, but those exercises are what worked. Within a week (4-5 visits), it was practically like I never had the issue. I am SO thankful to this place for correcting my back issue, and teaching me what to do to avoid the problem in the future. I now have them working on a couple of other lingering things, like tension in my shoulders and jaw (TMJ), and so far, I'm equally as impressed. Dr. Chad is who I see, and he is beyond pleasant. He's got a great personality, and while I've only been going here 3 weeks, I feel like I know him! I would recommend this place (and have) again and again! So glad I went!

I shopped around to at least 5 other therapy providers and chose SSOR because of this price quote. Please contact me Taylor and I will gladly update this review. I have called SSOR, the parent company, as well as the billing company at least 12 times since April, I have all calls documented.

I've never been to a chiropractor before, but injured a rib by not being a spring chicken anymore, so I decided to give it a shot. I felt so much better after one visit. Dr. Moses is not like some of those "chiropractors" you see on social media who are just looking for a loud crack. He took his time to explain what he was doing and why. He also suggested some exercises to help prevent future pain. He even called a few days later to make sure everything was going well. Appointments are usually available same or next day. Front office staff is wonderful as well. Insurance is accepted and self pay rates are reasonable.

I checked in for the appointment today, paid my co-pay and waited for a technician to call me. Once I got in the MRI department, I reminded the tech that I have a Spinal Cord Stimulator implanted by Dr. Fotopolis in 2024. I had discussed this with the tech and doctor that saw me in the Urgent Care department. I also recorded it on the intake form that day. The tech told me they don't have the correct MRI machine to do any MRI's on patients with stimulator implants and none of their facilities do and I needed to make an appt. at an independent imaging company. The people I spoke with today at KCOI were very apologetic and I understand mistakes are made. What I am upset about is evidently the doctors at KCOI put in 100's of stimulators each year and are supposedly they are the #1 rated Ortho Hospital in the city, yet they don't choose to buy an imaging machine that is stimulator compatible. On my return they told me that after running my insurance they discovered that my actual cost would be $102 per session, and that this was their error due to the fact that they hadn't actually processed my claim through insurance in the first place, like they assured me they had. Edited: since writing this review I've gotten quotes from two other local providers; The base rate of eval as well as each session at PT Solutions is at least triple the cost, on average, of the other two providers.
