Taking the reigns on a plane for the first time can be nerve wracking but Evan was right there with me the whole time supporting me. Prior to takeoff he slowly and deliberately walked me through each step of the pre-flight inspection. In the air, we had a really great time trying out all sorts of maneuvers and practicing in the airspace. He clearly described everything every step of the way. Afterwards, he took the time to explain how different flight schools are set up and the syllabus that they've created at FlightCerts to ensure that their students get the best of all worlds. My son was struggling in math and his teacher just yelled at him along with my oldest daughters math teacher. My children went in to get a tardy slip but my husband couldn't come in to check them in because he was late for his VERY important medical appointment and the office ladies got really mad and yelled at my children! One of the ladies told my daughter that being on time for school is more important then her father's health and they spilled personal information of ours to another family.

I have to say that Visalia Flyers is by far the best option that has ever been available at the Visalia airport. The owner is an A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) Mechanic and he keeps the aircraft impeccably maintained. This is a huge deal! Airplane maintenance is expensive and I have flown some very sketchy planes where the owners tried to stretch things as far as possible and as a result, have experienced numerous in-flight issues. But so far, I have never had a problem with a Visalia Flyers airplane, and I have flown hundreds of hours in them. The instructors there are also top notch. They took me from my Private Pilot rating all the way through my Instrument, Commercial, and Flight Instructor ratings and I enjoyed every minute of it. Highly recommended!!!
