I love Sephora the young women at the Stockton store are always so nice. I'm a 62 year old Black woman that cares about her skin. I request a lot of samples but I also purchase a lot of skin products. Today I use a lot of Roth products. I love the Pumpkin mask and Strawberry cleanser. I love it here! Not only do they have makeup, they have fragrance skincare and nail polish. The girls that work here are very professional, they work with me as I always come in with a budget of 150. They help me find what I need, if it's not in stock they recommend and show me something similar. It gets really busy on the weekend, even when they're extremely busy they still do their best to get me what I need, I'm not a fan of long lines so I do my shopping on Tuesdays when it's empty. They have brands like urban decay nars and Kat von d which are my favorite! The manager Heather is so nice she has the best customer service! She has a great team I met all girls I'm sure thank you sephora! I want to come in for an appointment soon for my wedding!!!! read more

I shop here quite frequently but today I was completely appalled at the way the associate treated me. I show up with 10 day old eye lash curler and receipt in hand asking for a refund because the product was not to my satisfaction. 1st, the woman that helped me told me that the eye lash curler was old and it could not be returned.. But she has the receipt in her hand.... The item was only ten days old and of course I used it, but the product was not to my satisfaction, thus the reason for the return... 2nd, she doesn't even take a look at the receipt before telling me that I didn't have the correct receipt. I had to help her do her job and show her that the receipt was in fact for the eyelash curler. Pretty much she did nothing to help me and refused to do the refund. Nice to know the type of customer service you will get a Sephora store. Ill do my shopping at ulta from now on. read more

Why is Nazart always so rude? I shop here so, so often and she's always in a bad mood. She's a terrible employee. By all the time, I mean ALL the time. Sometimes I shop 3 of 5 days, and or 4 of the 7 as I go through makeup like crazy. My reward points speek for themselves. She's very insecure and definitely should not be working in the beauty industry. I shop Sephora so much I have even seen her be rude to other people. She literally acts like you're bothering her and gives customers dirty looks. Today she accused me of lying twice, while not looking at my face. The day prior I spoke to an employee about returning a NARS limited edition eyeshadow that they no longer carried but was still brand new. (LIMITED EDITION) . So while the other girl is wringing my refund she interrupts to say, "wait! Because we dont carry that name/color, she didn't get that here". I informed her that it was limited and I did purchase it there. She walked over to the NARS section and came back to say, "we don't carry this color, she didn't get this here, we can't return it". Now mind you, this isn't even her transaction. She's butting in with another employee. She was cleaning and literally stopped to come over into our conversation. She must be a manager. I then informed her that I have photos and video because I vloged everything. She walked away without a word and the other girl gave me my refund. Smh read more

Love the products here but the customer service was not so helpful. I came here to have someone help me find a foundation for my skin color. A lady applied a small amount onto my skin and asked me if I like it. Shouldn't an expert tell me if it matches or don't match my skin instead of asking me if I like it? I decided to look around and came upon a mirror and saw how yellow my face was due to the foundation. Won't be asking for advise here anymore. read more

My wife bought a few items in the store which totaled $84 and used a $15 off coupon if you spend $50. After getting home she realized she didn't want a $28 item. On returning they would NOT give us a full refund even though we were still over the $50 threshold!!! I even asked them to refund us the entire purchase and recharge us for the other items then apply the discount. They would NOT do that!!!! So this company would NOT do what was right so they lost a customer who has two daughters over $4 and change!!!! Also, I will tell everyone I know NOT to patronize this place because there are many other beauty supply places around that would be hungry for our business!!!!! read more

I read some of the reviews saying the girls here are rude but my experience was quite the opposite. Went here on a Sunday & it was really busy. Even though the store was packed & the girls were all busy, I was still tended to & the associate helping me did not rush me at all. She made sure I left happy with exactly what I needed. First off let me start off by saying that every time I have walked in here the associates are too busy talking to each other and not their customers. The customer service here and product availability is ridiculous. I was a Rogue member for years until an encounter at this Sephora happened, now I only shop at Sephora for their beauty deals This review is long overdue, but better late than never. Last year I went in and returned my online lipstick kit order, I think the liquid had melted in the packaging because it was just runny. While returning the order my two year old daughter was being out of control and I was clearly overwhelmed, but I returned the kit to the lady and left (Without even really paying attention to the girl who was helping me, without checking her name and without grabbing the receipt). Two weeks later I noticed that the money had not been returned to my account and then I did some investigating and it turns out....the items were supposably never returned. I called Sephora customer care and they said there was nothing they could do, it was up to the store. I went in multiple times and finally was able to speak to a manger, but they also could care less and said there was nothing they could do if I didn't have a receipt. Eventually I gave up and just lived with the $25 loss (learned a lesson to ALWAYS get a receipt) but that was also a loss for Sephora. Not only will I always choose ULTA over Sephora now (Goodbye Kat Von D. Foundation and Concealer), but they had (maybe still have) a dishonest associate who is stealing from the company. I have made it a point to let my friends and family know what kind of business Sephora runs. read more

I come to sephora a lot and I'm usually left standing by myself untill someone is free enough to help me and usually the associates are not friendly. They get snobby, and it ends up me being in a really pissed off mood. I come around 4-5 and I come across the same snobby people, I remeber I was doing a return and the associate was extremely snobby and made me look stupid for making a return. I picked up a few makeup products and my skin is super sensitive and they end up reacting on me so since I spent like $80 on the product and they didn't work on me, sensible thing would be is to bring it back so I don't waste my money. So I brought the items back and the associate acted as if I stole this products, used them to my hearts content and then brought it back. She kept telling me that these product were all used and I kept telling her very politely yes they're used, I used them and they reacted on my skin so I'm bringing it back. And she replied in a very rude way saying well what was the need of purchasing these products, I look at her with the obvious expression of are you stupid?? I didn't say anything I just said well I won't purchase them next time. One of my returns including a concealor from nars, I had purchased it the day before and when I had opened it, it looked clearly used, it wasn't a new bottle because you can see the bubble spots in the jar. I told her that I had purchased it the day before and when I opened it, it clearly was used. And what does the associate do, she tells me straight up that she's not gonna return it and she does something where on the receipt I got back, she notes, defective item not eligible for return. So I can't come back and return it and I just wasted my money on a product other people used. I'm in shock and nearly in tears at the rudeness and how much of a bitch she was. And then even after all that insult I got my return and wanted to shop for other things and in the corner of my eye as I walk away from the register, I hear her talking shit about me to another co worker, telling the co worker how I'm trying to outsmart sephora and how stupid I looked. Like what the heck?!?! I spent my hard earned money on products that reacted very badly on my skin and that was clearly used by someone else and she's saying I'm the one to outsmart them??? I immediately walked out and told myself I'm never coming back when she's working. And that's how it is, everytime I see that associate I willl never step foot onto sephora and I told my friends and family about my experience. I should get her name so I can report her to the manager on what an awful associate she is. Then I came another time for foundation and again I stood there looking like an idiot because everyone else was too busy talking to each other rather than helping the customer and mind you im a very polite and understanding customer, I will never argue with an associate or be rude because I understand how busy it gets. Then I was approached by an associate named Kiana and OMG she's like a best friend at sephora. Even though I just met her I feel like shes my best friend at sephora. I will only go there if Kiana is there. She's so friendly and Is quick to give you what items you need. She works so hard to give you the right products and she works with you to make sure you're happy. I was so so so pleased. She's such an awesome person I couldn't believe how nice and friendly she was! Another thing is that she took in account my sensitive skin and allergies to some ingredients and she thoroughly went through every product to make sure I had the right product and indeed I always do! My skin never reacts on the products she gives me and because of her friendly and funny conversations I leave in such a happy mood! I love her so much! And she's my go to gal at sephora! Sephora all I have to say is she's hands down the best associate I've come across there and I will always come back thanks to her! 5 star rating for this place only thanks to her! read more
