The reviews here are for the doctor's cosmetic procedures. While she is recommended for her surgical acumen, her office is horribly inefficient. I called the office and they answered phone with a hello so that I had to ask if I was calling a dr office. Each appointment is at least two hours of mostly sitting and waiting. Office staff is untrained and I question their medical preparation. Perhaps her practice is more for Botox and other treatments rather than for surgical patients. read more

I have seen Dr Cockerham for many years at many locations. She is super sweet and accessible. Not your usual doctor. She is efficient and caring and seems unique in her practice of giving out her cell number for whatever questions you might have. She makes getting procedures seem simple and easy. You can be sure she has your best interest in mind. She is not a doctor to push unneeded and expensive proceeders and treatments on you. I Love Dr. Cockerham, she does great work and makes you so comfortable at the same time!! I went and saw Dr. Cockerham in her Modesto office for some facial "touch ups". Just because I am getting older, I still want to look my best but without looking like I have had work done. I went in knowing what I wanted improved, but didn't know what I would need to get that accomplished. Dr. Cockerham was great in going over all of my options with me. I really felt like she listened to me and gave me what I wanted and was not just about what she could charge me for. I absolutely love the fillers and Botox that I had done. All of my friends are telling me how "great I look" and asking If I just returned from a great vacation because I look so refreshed! In short: the doctor is okay but the staff and her back-office are horrendous ! After three visits all we heard is "we are sorry - this and that..". - They do not honor your time and we were left to wait for hours with no options. - It is impossible to set an appointment, the answering service in use has no direct access (leave a message and they will call back, which they never do) - When we asked for information / direction from the staff we got the "standard brush-offs" and at times rude (yelled at by front desk). When we did get to see the doctor, she was nice but we never got to the point of actually receiving any physical service. It was half a year of appointments tag. read more

I finally decided to have cosmetic I surgery with CO2 laser as well . I been a patient of Dr.cockerham for 10 years having Botox and filler's I was scared but I've always had a pleasant experience at her offices. The entire surgery experience was a piece of cake. A staff member called me one week prior to my surgery and went over all my meds to take and not to take. She also went over what to bring to my surgery what to expect and what to do afterwards and answered any questions that I had. I also did not know what questions to ask but she provided me with information I would have never thought of. The day of surgery after I checked in and was waiting for the anesthesiologist Dr Cockerham came in and asked me if I had any other questions and explain to me what was going to go on that day. The next thing I knew I was awake and wanting a cheeseburger it was that easy! That night I started to swell quite a bit and was getting concerned but Dr Cockerham had given me her personal cell number and that put me at ease , they had also prepared me for everything so I knew that that was normal I just had never felt anything like that before and again it made me feel better knowing that Dr Cockerham was a phone call away. Dr. called me the next day to check on me and I told her that I was getting very itchy she reassured me that was also normal told me to take some Benadryl and it did the trick. Dr. removed my stitches one week later and put tape over my incisions and gave me more post instructions for what could happen or might happen I am glad to say that everything went well. I had some bruising which was normal but was given some Arnica serum which made the bruising dissipate over night. Into weeks you couldn't tell that I did anything except look smooth and refreshed. purposely choosing to go under the knife made me a little nervous but now that it's over the information pre and post, and personal care of Dr Cockerham and her staff made it one of the easiest endeavors I've ever experienced . read more

I recently had restylane injections with Dr. Cockerham and couldn't be happier with the results. I am very nervous about lip injections because the last thing I want is that bee-stung duckbill look that I have seen in some women my age ("of an age"). Dr. Kimberly Cockerham deserves 7 stars out of 5! She is exceptionally skilled, she has a very caring nature, and she is very reasonable. She has a good heart as well exceptional skill. If you want it done right she is the best, she has many awards and high Diplomas and Certifications, including an award for being: "One of the Best Doctors in America". Dr. Cockerham is excellent, caring, wise, and good hearted. She fixes much bigger issues than mine, but she cares about large and small matters, she cares about people's happiness too. Dr. Cockerham's staff is kind, efficient, and thoughtful in their handling of the patients. I had a procedure to remove a growth on my eye, and was very nervous. They went beyond call to put me at ease, and to make me comfortable. The procedure was relatively painless, and recovery is going well. Their instructions were very precise and complete. Although Dr. Cockerham was recommended as a highly successful doctor with huge credentials, my experience was much less than satisfactory. Her Stockton office is comically disorganized which I won't go into since that was the least of my worries. I had a recurrence of basal cell carcinoma on my lower eyelid. Although Dr. Cockerham was very upbeat and optimistic, the treatment dragged on for four incredibly stressful months and during that time, I gradually lost the tentative confidence I had in her. She would tell me one thing at a particular appointment and then the next, tell me something completely different as far as what to expect from the healing. The resulting skin graft was bulging and purple and my eye was left partially sewn shut which eventually caused my upper and lower eyelids to fuse together so I couldn't focus out of that eye, She tried injections to shrink the tissue, which had a very minimal effect. Each appointment had to be scheduled a week or two later than needed because she is gone from the office a lot. The last time I saw her, she came into the room without the normal, "This looks great - trust me -I've done hundreds/thousands of these." Rather, she abruptly sat down and said, "So what do you want to do with this eye?" That was it. I hunted down another doctor who opened my eye up and cleaned up the skin graft. i never went back to Cockerham's office and have had no further communication with them which suits me fine. read more

I have seen Dr Cockerham a few times now, but the last visit to her was exceptional in bringing back a vibrancy to my face, in a most subtle way! I had her full attention during my appointment while I told her my concerns, and she was able to achieve what I asked for beyond what I thought capable. She seems to know the many subtleties of cosmetic injections, probably from her vast experience in facial surgeries and practice in ophthalmology. I went from looking tired and worn out, to looking and thus feeling like I could take over the world! (or maybe at least parts of it:). Sigh. So much to say here but I'll try to be brief. This review applies to both Zeiter Eye Group and Dr. Cockerham herself. I saw the Dr at the Manteca office once and the Stockton office 3 times. Every single time I was there they ran 1-2 hours late. I kid you not. Both the office staff and Dr. C were impersonal, not warm, did not care that I was there really. It was actually kind of bizarre. Even while waiting for so so long, no one gave me a time update, said someone would be with me soon, etc. Horrible. In all the probably 8-10 hours I spent at Zeiter over the 4 appointments , I probably actually was with Dr. C like 30 minutes total? And even in that time she ran off to see other patients. I was there trying to see her to get something removed from my eyelids. The fourth and final time I was there she decided to try something called a laserpen to remove them. The assistant said she was putting some kind of anesthetic on me but I tell you, it did not work. That pen hurt WORSE than childbirth - and I have had 4 children at home with no drugs. There was no comforting bedside manner, no offer of additional anesthetic. I won't go back for sure. read more
