This company is the worst when you want to cancel orders. They promise a refund and never sends it. If you purchase gift cards and the funds are stolen they don't even work with you to give you information on the transactions. I truly believe they have a serious internal fraud issue and the corporate office is being blind to the issue or part of the problem. Shame on you Sephora for the way you treat your customers. read more

Maybe they have new management, who knows but this Sephora is shameful. Staff sitting around yapping when they could be stocking the ridiculously empty shelves or cleaning all the filth that apparently no one sees all over the floors and on the checkout counter. Never had this problem at Tysons nor Pentagon City. They make JCPenney look bad. It's so nice and clean inside JCPenney until you get to the Sephora area. Hey people, you've got options in that mall. Mary's has top of the line customer service with top notched cosmetic counters. Kohl ' s upstairs even has a new makeup area with high end cosmetics as well. There's also an Ulta about 2 miles away. Bypass Sephora until they get that dirty, filthy, half-stocked crappy store under control! read more

This is clearly not a full service Sephora but I needed a couple of things and was in the mall to see a movie so I thought why not? I'll run over. I needed a Boscia Konjac Sponge with Bamboo which they had but I took the last one off the shelf. Then I needed to ask one of the sales associates her recommendation for applying a powder I use daily. She suggested a Sephora #70 Pro Buffing Brush. I thought $36 for the brush was a little excessive but I did buy it and after using it for about 4 days I'm pretty happy with her suggestion. I'd return again if in the area. I think the other reviewers are a little harsh here. read more

I've written two other Sephora reviews and both of them were five stars as the service I've received was exceptional. This particular location on the other hand - well I wasn't nearly as impressed - I realize it's not a "full Sephora"; but the same could be said for their Columbia, MO location (reviewed here: http://www.yelp.com/biz/sephora-columbia-3#hrid:rNSXgI9wwVqa9HGULDXO5w) and there was no comparison in regards to the service we received and our overall experience. That's not to say this one was "bad"; but it was *not* the Sephora experience we're accustomed to. We visited this location so my wife could try the ColorIQ system that I had tried in my review of the above Columbia location. For starters we had issues actually getting assistance. They were a little busy; but really no more than we've seen anywhere else - they just came across as disorganized and inefficient. Once my wife did get some assistance they did match her color, but their iPad was missing (apparently broken) so they had to go back and forth to their counter to reference the foundations that matched during which they would end up ringing up customers and answering questions - this caused the visit to take far longer than it should have and added to the disorganization. I'm not complaining that they took the time to ring up customers - that's how they stay in business; but I do feel had if the had the iPad in place and working the visit would've went better. They did find her foundation that she liked; but they didn't only did a portion of her face with. Since what she had on was close to what they picked out it wasn't overly obvious, but an extra minute or two would've been appreciated (and yes I'm sure she could've asked them to do it; but she's a bit "timid" and I was off looking at other things at this point or I would've). This is an example of "rating on a curve" as if we had never been to the other two Sephora's I've reviewed they might've gotten a 4/5 star rating instead. However, when compared to those two, this one suffered greatly - I felt like we were in a much lower end store than what Sephora tries to be and in the future we'll be going back to West County (or to the Columbia store if we're up there). read more

This is a very disorganized Sephora. Their employees do not look like cosmetic consultants.. And neither acted like cosmetic consultants. They followed me around the store and watched me, almost as if they were suspecting I was going to steal something?? read more

I have no rating for this sephora. My daughter and I walked inside Jcpenny specially for this store. We were looking for the Rihanna makeup line. We had to find it ourselves which wasn't a problem but the two young ladies that were working there never came to help us at all and we had been there for at least 25 mins but as soon as a "different" woman walks in she was immediately helped and she was standing right next to us. Within 2 mins another woman walks in and she is immediately helped so I stood directly in front of one the cashiers and I was still never acknowledged so we left. As you know Rihanna's makeup line is not cheap. So amazon it is. read more

I consider myself almost a Sephora connoisseur- I've been to a Sephora in almost every state and a few different countries. Whenever I see the black and white stripes of a Sephora building my eyes light up like a kid in a candy store. It's my go to place of zen and retail therapy shopping. I liken it to the feeling one would get as a child seeing the big rainbow Toys R Us sign and the happiness that brings. That being said- I would NEVER recommend going to this particular Sephora. There is a woman in there, Jeanne, that is incredibly rude, unhelpful, and against any sort of customer service and brand message Sephora has built for itself. There were two ladies, Brittany and Amanda that where trying to help me figure out the best shape and color for my eyebrows. We were trying a few samples and shades of Anastasia brow pomade and they were educating me on the difference between brow pomade and regular lining pencil. They were both very kind and helpful. Unfortunately not once, not twice, but THREE TIMES this woman came over to me and told me they are not allowed to do consultations during the holiday season. The place was virtually empty and there were plenty of employees to customers available. I was appalled at the rudeness and tenacity this women had to go out of her way to be that incredibly rude. I spend $1000s of dollars at Sephora each year and I have NEVER witnessed anything like this in my life. I spoke to the manager so hopefully they do some retraining or rehiring very soon because I walked out with a list of products I will be buying at a different Sephora and will never be returning to this particular store ever again and I recommend others do the same. read more

I've been going into this Sephora for years. I have always gotten excellent customer service in the past...Until they got a new manager (managers). Many of the friendly faces that had knew name on sight are gone, and those that are left are hit and miss. I did recently go in, and a young lady who was AWESOME helped me, and I adored her, but she told me that she will be leaving in the next week or so for employment elsewhere. Totally bummed about that, because she was great. I guess we will see what happens. If I have too... I will drive the extra 30 miles to a better Sephora. read more
