5 stars! Yessss! I was looking for this lotion and I was helped by two young ladies here. I bought a trial size of the other lotion but come to find out, it was a body wash. The next day, I returned to swap this out for the lotion. I was assisted by another young lady and her service was just as good as the other two from the day before. Then, a few days later, I decided to get the full size lotion so I was back in there. They have a great variety of makeup and perfumes. You can spend a lot of time in here. I was hoping to find a standalone Sephora shop but they did manage to have everything that I was looking for. My main mission was to get the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner but the Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks caught my eye before I could get out of there. Of course I ended up trying some of the shades on my hand but almost all of them were missing the applicator. Is that normal to deter people from using it directly on their lips or are they just abused? This made testing difficult but I did settle on a shade for that day. The lady behind the counter was friendly and she urged me to request a sample after I paid, as well as any other time I would be by. She assured me that if a sample of my preferred product was not available, she would try to make one for me. Instead of just tossing a random item in my bag, she asked what my skin was like and what sort of products I was looking for. After I mentioned combination skin and leaning more towards natural beauty, she gave me a 0.5 fl oz sample of Origins Activated Charcoal Mask. Being Korean, I obviously LOVE face masks so I was happy to get another one. Even though a lot of the testers were in bad shape, I will still be back here the next time I have money to blow on makeup. read more

As I've been reading the reviews a lot of people have had issues with the older manager, I believe her name is Carrie, I wanted to return a make up kit that had a broken pencil on the inside. I called ahead of time and they told me it was under the old policy and was still returnable. Carrie told me it was not returnable and that NO WHERE would return it. And she said she didn't have the authority to override it when her colleague said she was the manager! I didn't even have time to explain myself to Carrie because she kept rambling on about how i had no other options when I spoke to Sephora before hand and they told me there is always options!. She was so rude, so I left the store and called Sephora's customer service again to file a complaint against this incident and to have them go over the return policy so the Sephora team at JC Penny could understand it thoroughly. Carrie, the manager disappeared before I could come back and return my item and of course the other employee couldn't override it either and she said Carrie was the only one who could , I'll never go back and I hope Sephora does something about all these bad reviews! read more
