I had a rather large order (11 pieces). The delivery of several pieces was to be delayed (about 2…read moreweeks). I agreed. When I did not receive any updates at the expected time, I had to try to track things down myself, because communication with GW absolutely stinks. I called the corporate customer service number daily, often trying for a good 2 hours, only to be placed into a phone queue, and then either have my call dropped on multiple occasions or leave messages which were never returned. After several days of this nonsense I visited the store. Because nobody could give me any information about the three remaining pieces, I finally cancelled that portion of my order. Due to the items being "on-line exclusives." the staff in the store did not have the "authority" to cancel that portion of my order or initiate the refund. Only the "special orders" department people could do that and there were only 2 of them, and it was already after 3 pm, so I would have to wait until the next day for any further info. The remaining order did eventually get cancelled, but nobody contacted me with the info. So once again I had to try to reach a person in-store. Via GW's online chat I asked for a direct number to the store, and was given the corporate number once again. That's the one that always says call volumes are high, puts you into a queue, and fizzles. I asked for a direct number. The rep had to email the store to ask them to call me. Apparently nobody gets the number to the store. I did receive a call back within probably 10 minutes, and the refund process was explained to me. I was told it would be 3-5 business days to hit my Visa. Fingers crossed. All in all, the communicaction throughout this has been painfully lacking. I can't believe the store remains in business when communication is this poor. Having to call a corporate number that you may or may not get through on, only to have them email the store to relay my message, and cross my fingers that someone gets back with me is an absolutely ludicrous business practice. If after reading this and you still choose to make a purchase with GW, I wish you the best of luck.

This place is just awesome! Great selection of thoughtful toys that don't require batteries to amuse a child, adorable clothing and oodles of books and baby-care items. I was offered a mimosa today for their grand-re-opening celebration (who doesn't love mimosas??) and complementary gift wrap. It's so worth finding this treasure spot. The sales clerks were knowledgeable and really helped with my selections. This will be my go-to spot for Christmas gifts this year!

Complete with neon lighting squiggled throughout the top of the walls all around the store..overly cheesy concession stand signs..no grocery area, just a small area that has a couple grocery items. Just like Target stores were in the 90's..they haven't updated this store at all. It's fun and nostalgic coming here, but unfortunately there is a reason so many other stores have either been built differently or remodeled..because this model is a much lesser version of what Target stores are these days. Not as great a selection as other stores..and the place feels dated and run down. The bathrooms are pretty gross..and old..I mean, at least keep up with the bathrooms..you can't just let those go. Anywho..a two star review with an extra star tacked on for nostalgia reasons. Bought 4 small tops that was on sale, not clearanced. $10 each. I attempted to EXCHANGE 2/4. was buying jeans that were $54.99, & found one of my 4 tops in an XS being sold now for $14.99. Asked for help once during my 30 minute visit to be blown off rudely. Store was empty. Not busy. Different girl as cashier. Refused to excuse items & did not look at them. I called Chesterfield Old Navy & they will do it & said she's wrong. Called back after leaving & said I would not be back but my experience was awful & I'd be leaving a review. I was hung up on. I didn't use profanity or raise my voice. I also leave good google reviews, not just bad ones. I'll be reporting this to Old Navy as high up as possible just because these girls are very rude. I have kids this age who would never act this way.

Perhaps I just had the fortune of catching Old Navy commercials for after Christmas specials or New Years Sales. Maybe all the clothing items had been on the shelves forever. Whatever the reason, it seemed like everything was within my price range. Not only that, this was one of the largest Old Navy stores I had been to. And by that, I mean that the Men's section was larger than 3 or 4 racks. The only drawback to a large store is that the density of employees per square footage of shopping area was low. It generally took about 2 to 3 minutes of looking to find someone available to help you out with something. There were quite a few shirts and jeans that had been misplaced/left unfolded. The merchandise itself was similar to what you'd find in any other Old Navy store. The main thing this site had going for it was size and price (seemed like items were cheaper compared to the Old Navy store in SD, LA, etc.) Recommendation: CHECK IT OUT!

We bought several packs of slingshot chickens, and they kept us entertained all evening. They also have a great selection of puzzles, both 2D and 3D. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for something new for family game night!
