The cutest little shop with plus sizes!! While taking a day trip to Frankenmuth their store front caught my eyes!! I was pleasantly surprised to see they carry STYLIST prices in plus sizes!! Non of that boring, over done pokadots and floral patterns plus size company's seem to be obsessed with! I found a wonderful jacket, perfect for fall and the cutest Christmas charm necklace!! They also have the cutest bay section. We found a gorgeous "Merry" sweater, buy unfortunately was too big for our little one! The woman there, I believe was the owner, was fantastic!! I went to Allure'a to tan, and right when I walked in...I wished I'd made an appointment for a haircut, mani/pedi and a massage as well! I was shocked at how modern it was inside and how bright and upbeat the staff seemed to be. You may find the trip upstairs to the tanning beds and massage tables a little awkward because of the creaky stairs and lack-of-the-greatest lighting, however, you won't be disappointed. Every thing was very well kept and clean, the beds were all brand new, and each room had ample space with plenty of peace & quiet (yay!). The staff were true-to-impressions as well. The woman behind the register said she was the Owner, and was extremely friendly. She had very pleasant answers to all of my questions. Definitely recommend. P.S. Would only go back in a pinch. Technician had to go next door to get hot water by time I got there, no hot water. She didn't use a top coat and had a hard time getting polish off. The ladies working were talking to one another instead of me during my visit. I don't need undivided attention but felt ignored. After facial, had no idea where to go, walked into a broom closet (something like that). Was left unattended for about 10 mins. My hope is they cater more to clients vs Employees. Have a great service but could use some people skills. Improve this, will try again. My service was done around May, first opportunity to post review. read more

I took my daughter up to Frankenmuth for a mother/daughter weekend because she was going through a rough time. The staff at Allure'a was wonderful! The salon was very cute and their prices were very reasonable. We got our nails done and a facial one day. Rachael did our nails and Cara did the facial. Both were super sweet. They gave my daughter a lot of attention and support. The owner came by to inspect our nails which made me feel like she cares about the work of her staff. The entire staff seemed to get along and really care about each other (the roads were bad that morning). The next day we both got a massage. Nancy and Gale did a fantastic job. I think it was the best 90 minutes of my daughter's life. They both gave her a hug goodbye. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Truly Awesome! read more

This is the second time I have had a massage at Allure'a and you can be assured that I will be back again! It isn't fancy but the people are warm and wonderful. The salon is bright and inviting and the massage rooms are clean and relaxing. I originally called to ask about a Shiatsu massage but ended up just booking a 50 minute relaxation massage. There was a bit of scheduling issue but the folks at Allure'a were able to work it out and I ended up with an even better time slot than what I'd originally booked! When I arrived Saturday morning, everyone was in an upbeat and friendly mood. Nancy, my masseuse, was so easy going and cheerful. I liked her immediately. The massage was INCREDIBLE! Nancy even went out of her way to do some research on Shiatsu massage techniques so she could incorporate them into my massage...and they were wonderful! I received service and a massage that surpassed my expectations. I will be back again and I highly recommend Allure'a if you are in town and need to chill out and relax! read more

Here's my experience....My sister and I wanted to treat our dear sister in law to a haircut, manicure and pedicure. We paid for these with a credit card and the assurance that all our sister in law had to do was make the appointment. We included the appropriate tip in the bill. Our sister in law is in Frankenmuth, caring for her father who is in the end stage of his life. She really needed a break and we thought this would be the ticket. Well, my sister in law made the appointment and went in but after having her hair done, was told they knew nothing about our gift. So my sister in law paid for her cut and wash. When I found out what happened, I called the sister who went in on the gift with me. She called Allure and spoke to Shelly. Shelly said the gift certificate is sitting right here by the register. Apparently, no one bothered to relay the message to whoever covers the register. Pretty poor customer skills in my opinion. I am so angry that our attempt to bring a little relief to our sister in law's life was met with such indifference by the staff of Allure. I will never recommend this place to anyone and will share my experience with anyone who wants to hear it. read more

Allure was awesome. We got married in Frankenmuth and had all the wedding hair done at Allure. Everyone's hair turned out beautiful and stayed all day long. We were able to get everyone's hair done at the same time. We also opted into a package that included mimosas, bagels, fruit and some other snacks while we had our hair done. I have come here several times, each either loving it or hating it. The last couple times were pretty good so I went in and wanted the same thing redone as last time. I didn't get at all what I asked for and the work was sloppy in areas. When I spoke to the owner about it, the store policy is to have the same person fix it. I went in to get it fixed and it's still pretty bad. This experience has made me decide not to come back and to take my business elsewhere where it can be done right. read more

I set up an appointment for my daughters wedding for all of the wedding party and mothers months before the wedding. I put down a deposit for the wedding date to hold the appointments, this was also to have food the morning of the wedding, the bride went in for her trial and the stylist could not do an updo.......She tried many times..... we had pictures. When we left my daughter was in tears. When I called to cancel the appointments and to explain why the owner said it was one of her best stylists...I asked for my deposit she said it was not refundable even though I was never told that, and we didn't have a contract.
