I was a part of a bridal party and they did everything in their power to ensure all of us were able to receive make up application at or around the same time. I was accidentally charged for the wrong service, but the managers along with Carolina, immediately corrected everything. Christal was my artist for the day and she was so personable, providing recommendations for places to eat and visit. I love going to Sephora but this one I felt it was very dirty and not kept up. There wasn't a lot of trash can so people left there dirty samples everywhere. Also there were too many empty testers and a layer of dust everywhere (you can tell it doesn't get clean inside the store). It's smaller compared to other Sephora. read more

As a girl dad I should have expected that I would end up spending a lot of time in Sephora. Everything you need or had no idea you wanted for face or skin care. Lotions, serums and masks to try to reverse the horrors of time. Huge walls dedicated to scents, perfumes, colognes and fragrance, will astound your very senses to their limits. The staff is always professional, helpful, and you can even have them show you how to use products. You do not have to be a girl dad to go here, but it does help to have a guide. read more

This is my favorite Sephora in the strip area of Las Vegas. There is always something I have forgotten to pack for my trip or a new product I want to try and this Sephora is always stocked and the super friendly people that work here always helping me find what I am looking for. They have most of the brands you are used to and some new ones as well. You can try almost anything before you buy and sometimes you can take home a sample. They have lots of good minis in the checkout like which are great for traveling and you can usually score some type of deal with their purchase. This week they had a "buy three minis get a travel bag free" deal. They also have the product recycling box where you can drop off empty containers. My friend showed me this and I was excited to see I could recycle and also earn some points on the app challenge! I had a 5pm, 60 min full face makeup appointment on a Wednesday afternoon. I got there 30 mins early; just in case I had anything to sign. I also wanted to buy a few things in the store. I was approached by the Floor Manager (I'm assuming); who told me that the makeup artist was working on someone, and that I would be next. As I shopped, the same lady came to confirm my name. Then she said that I wasn't listed and perhaps it was another store. I showed her my text confirmation , and 2 email confirmations with the correct store listed. She said that someone has a 5:30 appointment......I could either take a 30 min appointment and have either have only foundation done or only my eyes made up, and I would only be charged 30 mins. I was livid, but I didn't show it. I chose to have only my eyes done. I was ready to drop the whole thing and leave the items that I was going to purchase. I sat and waited, while boiling inside. I'm looking in my phone to find an Ulta or MAC store that could help me. The Manager came back to me 5 mins before my appointment and said that she refreshed her phone and found my appointment; so I could keep my 60 min full face appointment. I'm thinking about the fact that I had confirmation in all forms, and they were offering me half of my expectation. I felt sub-valued. The makeup artist was very sweet and helpful. The Sephora mother ship here in Vegas. This was the first Sephora I went to and I can recall dipping into "Hope in a Jar" on my first visit to quence mt skin in the dry desert air. Since then I have added quite a few delightful items to my skin care and color collections. The Nars Orgasm blusher makes my skin glow! Nars lipstick polishes my lips. Dior, Urban Decay, YSL, are all there for the trying, and I got immediately obsessed with some delicious dark rose smoke glitter eye shadow, which upped my look to face Vegas night life. Came in couple of weeks ago to purchase my favorite Anastasia eyebrow pencil. But since my mom was with me, she all of the sudden had a wicked interest in freshening up her cosmetics. Love Sephora! This is a great store located right on The Strip inside the Miracle Mile Shops (Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino). After too much nightlife, dining, gambling, shows, and engaging in all that Sin City has to offer, strolling through the MMS is often a nice relaxing alternative...and a welcomed retreat from the heat. This LV locale is larger in scale than many others and the staff are all super attentive and helpful. From eyeliner to fragrance, and everything else in the world of beauty, Sephora has just about everything. They carry high pigmented makeup brands, and they revamped (and raised the prices a bit) a few years ago on their namesake line so their products stand up against many of the other options IMHO with a slightly less expensive price tag. Bottom-line: What gal really needs an excuse to shop for more makeup - as if the drawers and drawers we already have full aren't enough?! ;) Oh, I know...I forgot to pack dry shampoo...again. I got my makeup done twice at this store this past weekend and I loved both looks. I used to get my makeup done at the MAC store around the corner every year but after a negative experience I decided to try something different this trip. I was so happy I did, because I loved my makeup both times. Friday I was with Crystal and my makeup came out flawless. I don't usually do a pop of color on my lids and loved the rose gold colors she chose. I was nervous because she wasn't going to be there the next day and thought what if I don't like my makeup as much. The next day I had my makeup done by Blue and I LOVED it. I feel like the makeup complimented my burnt orange outfit and complexion so well, I received so many compliments. She told me the lashes I chose weren't going to pop as much and she was right. When I got back to my hotel I swapped them for my Lilly lashes that she recommended and that I had purchased the night before with Crystal. She also did a dark liner and nude on me which I didn't like at first (only because I'm not used to it) and it grew on me. I ended up keeping it on the whole night. I loved it. You can just come to Vegas and purchase your goodies here! I gave Marilyn the concept I wanted, which was a smokey eye and ombre lips and also told her I wasn't afraid for her to build on the foundation because I needed it to last all day and night! Boy did it last! It lasted until 6am when I finally went to bed! Lol! She was so skilled at her artistry, was very personable, and has been working in the industry for a while! Let me just start off by saying that I work retail myself and I've never had any problems in the past with helping customers out especially when they're being respectful. I wish I got this lady's name because I would've wrote it in the review in ALL CAPS but it was a bigger lady and I kindly asked if they had an item in stock because the only one that I found was opened with a damaged box so when I handed it over to her at the register she looked at me dead in the eye and said " well is the item in the box?" While she's literally holding it. I said "yes, but is there more in stock so I can find one unopened?" And she says in the most condescending tone "OHH, U JUST DONT WANT IT BECAUSE ITS OPENED?" And her and the cashier next to her proceed to laugh because apparently I'm crazy for being concerned about an item that's going to be going on my face for being open she then just goes on and basically says if that's all I see then that's all they have and I just said okay nvm and walked away. I would've took it back myself if she wasn't so rude but why is a damaged item on the sales floor in the first place? I am a Sephora fan and this one in the Miracle Mile shops is a nice one, although a bit crazy with foot traffic off the Strip and the mall. It is light and bright with big windows at the front which is a nice feature since it is always nice to see colors in natural light. The selection is as good as any Sephora, although not as big as my regular store in Colorado. Still, there are lots of associates there to help & still enough products to paruse. They seem to do a lot of make-up applications at this one (or were the day I was there). The checkout was a little disorganized and people kept cutting in line and causing all kinds of nastiness - which the cashiers handled the best they could. Located in the Miracle Mile of Planet Hollywood's Hotel, the best thing about this location is that you can utilize their free wifi! Now that may not be one of the first things that come to mind when you think of shopping here, but well in a city were you have to actually pay for internet, this stands out for me (although you could also take advantage of the free wifi at Starbucks, Coffee Bean, BCBG as well). But anyways, in generally, I like that Sephora has a nice organized and neat layout of the store so that you can easily find whatever make up product that you are looking for to add to your collection. I also really like that the employees here always greet you several times (different employees) during your visit. It is also really helpful for the make up artists walking around to see if you need help, especially if you are someone like me who doesn't wear make up on a regular basis. I love all the other cute little potential stocking stuffers that I can buy as little gifts here. Overall, this store is pretty cool and love poaching off of their free wifi. read more

First off, I got a little lesson in blending and contouring and WOW! My face looks so different! Lindsey explained what she was doing each step of the way, as I had mentioned that I'd like to learn more about makeup in the new year. She also told me that Sephora offers free makeup classes daily! Who knew? Not me! I had only gone in for a sample and walked away with said sample PLUS having learned a couple things - what great customer service!
