It breaks up, literally, the patches of brown spots around my t-zone and cheek areas. A couple of days after treatment, I would see brown "flakes" sloughing off of my face where the brown spots/patches were. My upper lip. I have light hair and no I don't have a particularly hairy upper lip, but I do get a couple of hairs that grow over my lip line and not only does it drive me crazy, the bf makes fun of me. So today I took action. The process was smooth but not painless. It is extremely quick with just a little paperwork. After signing releases I was taken back, given some safety glasses and we were a go. It is a split second cool feeling then an instant burn. You know it's working because you can smell your hair burning. It hurts just for a second, but it's enough to make you jump. It's a process of several zaps.. One for each 1/4 - 1/2 inch area. For my upper lip it only took about 3 minutes. I'm told it takes about 6 sessions total to completely remove the hair. Afterwards they put aloe on the area to sooth the burn. I want to try the bikini area next.. Do I dare go for Brazilian?? They have a special: buy 5 sessions get the 6th free. Woweeee woweee!! I…read morestarted seeing Michael for electrolysis because, well...I'm Arab and I have a LOT of hair y'all...a lot of hair where there REALLY doesn't need to be, ya heard??? After a couple electrolysis treatments (which is the ONLY THING I've ever tried that actually WORKS to get rid of hair permanently), I decided to try a few other things. Michael does cool sculpting, fat cavitation, EmSculpt, radio frequency, and laser hair removal. To put it bluntly, I've now done it ALL and can attest to the fact that it absolutely works. All of it. What I love is that he likes to combine modalities - so for example, if you're getting cool sculpting, he'll do a little radio frequency or EmSculpt before, then the cool sculpting, then fat cavitation afterward. This combination of things works SO MUCH better than just doing one of those alone. There are two reasons that Michael's services are far better than anyone else in town: 1. The price. He makes this SO accessible by pricing things at 1/10 of the cost of fancy pants spas. 2. His passion. He does this work because he genuinely loves it. He takes so much pride in his work and it shows. I love going to see him and I'll continue doing so. A couple hints for you: 1. Electrolysis is extremely painful, there are no 2 ways about it. Go for a consultation and get some numbing cream...it will at least dull the pain. 2. If you're getting cool sculpting, plan to do it a few times. One treatment generally doesn't do it - and he's very honest about that, unlike other studios. 3. If you're getting any of the body sculpting services, you need to work out and eat well in combination. It isn't magic - and he's also very honest about that.

My wife originally came in to do electrolysis and laser combo which is a $60, but when we got in he looks at the area you want done and then he made a better suggestion of just doing the laser since it wasn't bad and he can get the hair follicles dead with just laser. It was cheaper at $50 which was awesome and he goes up in power on the laser and makes sure you are ok with it, he doesn't want to damage your skin so he knows the right setting to make sure it's just hairs that die. We did 3 sessions with him and he always does more than what you pay for which is great. I can't recommend a better place to get hair removal.

I had a few different time slots & couple different aestheticians I could choose from on the day I wanted to go. No need to pay when booking. I got a text/email after to confirm my appointment. I must admit I didn't read my confirmation email very well as it does tell you that they are located inside the High Mountain Healing Spa. This sign is on their front door. Apparently they just moved into here not to long ago & are renting out this space. The owner has left the previous business's name on the door. Once I got into the parking lot I actually called them to find out where they were & spoke to a man, I think his name is Bob? Its inside a little mall plaza with other businesses in it. Once I walked in & confirmed I was in the right place, which I was. Their waiting area is really small, it would be hard to social distance in here. I checked in with an older man. He had a face mask on but it wasn't covering his nose. I really wanted to tell him that it's not 100% effective when not worn properly but didn't....... Anyways I was given a form to fill out that asks basic information, previous facials, skin care, etc. It didn't take me long to fill it out. I used a pen that was on the counter & have no idea if it was clean or not? They did have a bottle of hand sanitizer on the counter which I used. Once I turned in my paper work my aesthetician was there to great me. It wasn't the one I booked the appointment with, nor the new one they re-booked me with via an updated email they sent me prior to my appointment. Not sure why all the changing? I ended up having a very, nice young girl named Jacquline. I ended up jumping in the bathroom on my way into my room as I wanted to wash my hands since it didn't look like anything was sanitized @ the check in desk. Once I got in the room she explained what she was going to do to me & stepped out so I could get undressed. I only had to take my top off & was able to leave my bra on & move my straps down my arms. I then climbed onto my table & got under some linen. She knocked prior to coming back into the room. While working on me she had asked me about my routine face care. She gave me some info. & tips about my current face washing & SPF lotion regimen that I've been using. All the products used on my face smelled amazing. I got the holiday facial which is an hour long & includes a light neck, shoulder, upper back & upper chest massage. My skin looked amazing & was glowing afterwards. She did do a gentle extraction of my nose. She said the rest of my face looked good. We discussed other services that are available as I mentioned I don't like the loose skin under my eyes & she told me about their micro single treatment. I will definitely be booking that, anything to avoid surgery. Their prices are already really reasonable to begin with but they also offer a 25% discount for nurses on their services. When I checked out with Bob (?) who still had his face mask sitting under his nose he gave me a little gift which included a candy bar, xmas stuffed animal & an advertisement card about "lunch time facial" which was part of my FREE facial. Thank you sooooo much for offering the free facial to us healthcare workers during these hard times, I really appreciate it & I have been ranting & raving to my co-workers to get their butt in there & how awesome my facial was!!!! I will be back!

She is informative and educates you on how the whole process works! No needles no cutting but you do see a difference and for way less than you would if you did get a facelift. I am so impressed.
