3x's is not the charm!…read more 1st time, I was stuck in traffic and I called spa to report I might be a few minutes late. They were super standoffish and said if I was late, they could not accomodate me and I would be charged for no show. I was literally sitting in traffic on 95 behind a bad accident and nothing I could do. I asked if they could atleast let me reschedule and I was told no. 2nd time, I did an express tan and I had to call the spa to let them know, 4-5 hrs later, I had no color on me at all. I had to go back the next morning to get sprayed again. 3rd time was last week, the night before I was leaving for vacation and I asked for a dark spray. I woke up the next morning and barely had any color at all. I showed up at airport and first thing my family said "didn't you get sprayed yesterday"??!! I always feel rushed. I always feel as if they spend 2 total minutes spraying you and I can barely feel the mist. Employees are super nice. That's the only positive. Their prices have gone up and up over past year and its just not worth it anymore. Too many other options out there. I'm done.

I call an hour before my appointment to see if they will reschedule me due to it pouring rain. I ask them if I could get a rain check, or other services and they would not work with me at all. I came to the shop with full intentions to get some sort of accommodation. instead the front desk after already being rude states "we will wave the fee but this can't happen again" very confrontationally. i respectfully said ok i wont schedule again. please do not give them your credit card info. they dont care if you look good after you leave they just want your money. they offered me no accommodations. nothing. thanks for nothing I will not be scheduling with them. I hope the owner knows how disrespectful their staff is to people that are trying to spend money to feel good. no one wants a spray tan on a rainy day. i did not deserve the way they treated me.

Rating is overall, so important to note 5 stars go to reception and injectables staff for great…read morescreening/advice injectables not needed. 2 star rating warranted due to ineffective laser pre-treatment communication making it essential patients ask questions/initiate discussion as information provided is inadequate. Specifically: 1. multi-step prep process comes with sheet that only lists order of use; 2. sheet does not explain WHERE products should NOT be used, i.e., under eyes; 3. sheet does NOT INDICATE ADVERSE REACTIONS that might occur (I developed extreme redness under my eyes/on sides of my face). 4. sheet does NOT PROVIDE THE NAME OF THE PERSON WHO SHOULD BE CONTACTED FOR QUESTIONS/PROBLEMS. You do get an email telling you when to stop the pretreatment prior to the laser that also asks you to respond to the same questions you answered on the intake form. Why was never explained. HCB

I tried out Hand and Stone for an hour massage, as I have heard pretty good things about this chain…read moreof massage studios. I will preface this review by stating that the person who performed my massage was nice and seemed to genuinely care. The first issue was that I asked for a quiet massage to be able to relax, but instead, I had the masseuse talk to me and try to explain every little detail for the first 40 minutes of the 50-minute massage - the first time I ever wanted to walk out of a massage after 15 minutes (left the massage less relaxed then when I came in). The next issue, on checkout, they tried to charge me an extra $20 for "deep tissue", which, first, never came close to deep tissue, and second, when asked if the pressure could be increased about 30 minutes into the massage, I said yes, that supposedly was me asking to upgrade. If you go here, make sure you check your charges. Front desk didn't really seem to care much, just kept asking me about rebooking. Bad service, bad customer service, and did nothing to help my shoulder tightness.
