I saw that he sold some styles of his rings at Salt Hill, but I found other styles that Salt Hill didn't offer on other websites. I asked Taylor if it was at all possible for Fraser to sell a specific style of ring through Salt Gallery, because I wanted to support Taylor's business specifically. Salt Hill is a woman owned business in North Dakota, and being from the Midwest (now living in California), I want her business to succeed. I also wanna see more art jewelry in the Midwest!! Taylor reached out to Fraser and communicated with me the whole time via email sending videos of various rings on the hand. It felt like I may as well be in store with her! I ordered a ring, and it was an incredible experience!! Taylor and Danyel (co-owner) have a true passion for art itself, and they go above and beyond to ensure their customers find exactly what they are looking for, while not being pushy or salesy. The store has a modern vibe but maintains a wide range of jewelry from vintage to artisanal. You can't go wrong!!

If you love timeless pieces, this is the place for you. The first time I walked through the doors,…read moreI knew I had stumbled upon someplace special. Each piece is high quality craftsmanship and the shopping experience is lovely. Since that initial time my husband and I have had the joy of collecting several pieces. We scheduled a private showing to try on wedding rings and look at bands. They made it such a special, intimate experience, and accommodated when the one I wanted was not in store. They shipped it to the store and I was able to try it on in person. I fell in love with my ring and band. On another trip we were able to pick out our wedding perfume and cologne, along with a jewelry box that I adore. When it came time to choose my other wedding pieces I struggled to find the exact items to complement my dress. The closer I got to my day it solidified to me that I wanted to purchase my pieces from Salt Hill. I found the perfect 'storied' pieces from Salt Hill that are amethyst, my birthstone. I was able to have a friend pick it up and bring it to me at our rehearsal dinner. The owners go above and beyond to provide personalized services, with so much attention to detail. She wraps each gift thoughtfully in beautiful packaging. I tell everyone I know about how much my partner and I love Salt Hill. I look forward to adding more of their pieces to my collection. They are such an important part of our story.

It was the perfect opportunity for me to drop by and grab a few items before I crossed over the border to return to Winnipeg. I was at a Walgreens in Richfield. I saw a box of Dunkin' chocolates that intrigued me. I thought that I'd bring some back to the office. There was lots of parking in front of the store. It was busy on a Monday afternoon. I backed into a spot and walked in. I headed to the seasonal section. I found the Dunkin' chocolates that came in a box similar to getting donuts, but in a much smaller size. Perfect! I saw a sale on M&M's candies. I tend to get flavours that I can't get in Canada. I got a bag of caramel cold brew M&M's that I had never seen before. I also got dark chocolate. I got a friendly woman at the checkout. I entered my phone number associated with my rewards account. I then tapped my credit card. Paid! She put my goodies in plastic bag. I thanked her and left. When I got to my hotel room in Winnipeg, I had a few Dunkin' chocolates. The flavours did taste like the chain's popular donuts. I liked the cookie butter the best, with the brownie batter and holiday cake batter ones being solid, tasty options. I had the caramel cold brew M&M's when I got back to Markham. They are yummy. The caramel is chewy in each M&M, which was cool. I've had the dark chocolate M&M's before. I prefer dark chocolate over milk, which sometimes surprised folks. Yummy! I'm glad that I dropped by this Walgreens to get my chocolate fix. It's a decent store. I'd return when I'm in the area again. (495)
