Well a day after that I received the same email and they offered me 1 pm but I wasn't able to - i asked if 2:30 or 3 was available and was told 1 pm I explained how my friend and I were going to meet there and her appt was changed to 2:30 so I wanted to know if that time or 3 would be available. I called my friend to let her know that I had just received the same email she received a day earlier (which seems odd that all appts would have been called if there was an issue with their on-line scheduler) while we were chatting she received an email canceling her appt and told to reschedule with friend for another time... she hadn't even been asked - and no where did I say if I can't get an appt we would both cancel -- and I hadn't heard back from my last email I sent. We decided right then that I would cancel my appt and we'd find another salon to go to. I had a very similar event happen several years ago my friend actually called to make reservations for both of us ... we arrived on the day and time and were told when we went in for our appt that they had too many walk-ins and we'd need to reschedule!! I hadn't been back until we decided to give them another chance. Well seems nothing has changed.

Today is YES day for our daughter before back to school and one of the things she chose was for mom and dad to get pedis (including painting daddy's toe nails) and for her a mani/pedi. They have a cute little massage chair for the kids and Sophie was so amazing and patient with our daughter, did a cute little design on her toes too! I had Mariah and she was awesome! Seriously the best pedicure I've ever gotten, my toes look great and my feet feel so soft! Dad had Sonetta, she went above and beyond with his feet haha first pedicure in over a decade and 90% of the time his feet have been in mechanic work boots! We will definitely be using this place again for pedis! I am even trying them for acrylics in a couple days! Thank you ladies to the moon and back for an amazing and fun experience for all of us, especially our little girl on her YES DAY! You guys rock!

0 stars would be an appropriate rating. The service I received was not as advertised and the…read moreowner/manager was unwilling to offer a refund in any amount. My appointment started 20 minutes late (that time was not made up on the back end); the "body scrub" was rushed and not at all thorough; the technician waited a full 10 minutes to come back to the room after the scrub/wrap, despite being in the room when I turned the shower off (it literally takes 30 seconds to hop out of a shower and onto a massage table, so I have no idea why she waited so long to return). The "massage" was bare minimum--it's basically just them applying lotion--and it fell far short of the 20 minutes that was advertised. The owner/manager was not there on the day of my appointment (I expressed my concerns to the women at the front desk; they said they couldn't help me but said they'd have the owner call me). When I later explained to the owner/manager that my appointment was cut way short and that I certainly wouldn't describe any of it as relaxing or pampering, she offered me a $20 credit (the service cost me $125). I let her know that I don't live in Fargo and have no use for a credit (nor would I want to return and spend (ie risk wasting) even more money); she became argumentative, claiming that my story didn't align with what the technician told her. I can understand why the technician lied about what happened--that's what people do when they're at risk of being reprimanded or possibly fired--but I don't understand the owner/manager's response. I'm a veteran and I chose Affinity because it's veteran owned, but it's way overpriced for what you actually get and they won't even try--in good faith--to make things right when they go wrong. Save yourself the trouble--and heed the advice of the other 1-star reviews; go to one of the many other spas in the area.
