Unfortunately, there's no cologne on earth that would survive such a trek, so I end up smelling like nothing more than thin air, or whatever I ate beforehand... not good! And, so here I arrived (Perfumania), in search of a pocket-sized cologne that I can carry with me on my party-hoppin' adventures. Staff is always friendly.. with the first 6 bottles of colognes you sample; after which, you're on your own to flag them down for help. As my nostrils started hemorrhaging from the sensory overload, I reached out and grabbed a bottle of something, paid, and jetted out of there. Apparently, I picked up something called Ocean Pacific. The entire store feels incredibly dismal, dreary, and dated. Between the dim lighting, the prehistoric layout, and several sections that are visibly in rough shape, the whole place feels like a time capsule from the 1980s. It is a vital neighborhood outpost for the Bayside community, so hopefully, corporate gives this location the full modern renovation it desperately needs sooner rather than later. The only saving grace here is the people. Despite the grim atmosphere of the building itself, the staff is genuinely great, helpful, and professional, especially the pharmaceutical staff.

This evidence clearly shows Trudy failed to follow procedure and misrepresented the situation to her manager. When confronted, Trudy displayed open hostility. After I told her she was being racist, she abandoned the register and walked off the job mid-transaction. The Assistant Manager later said they would make an "exception" to process the return, which was insulting since I had a valid receipt. The store manager's nonchalant response further demonstrated a lack of seriousness in handling this discrimination.
