AMBIENCE Restaurant is situated where Jamba Juice used to be…read moreand it also has a second floor. When we entered, the entire first floor was packed and lines were long for ordering and claiming. The crowd eventually lessened as several minutes went by but there were still a lot of customers. FOOD We tried the 3PC Chicken Tenders and the 1PC Chicken and both had different textures especially on the coating. Tenders were typically good but the Bold BBQ dip was the star flavor in this combo; tasted really good! 1PC had tender white meat and a really thick coating, which tasted good but made the chicken actually look smaller. Biscuit was just as good as before and still somewhat plain, which I totally appreciate. At first, I thought the flavor was infused into the biscuit but turns out you put it in like you would with butter. Our flavor was honey but the experience of placing it in the biscuit was more interesting than the actual flavor. Spaghetti had a sweet and subtly unique taste. Fries had a nice and crispy texture. Among our orders, I still think only about those good and plain biscuits. SERVICE We had to wait quite awhile because there were lots of customers, and one number was called several times sometime before ours. The customer of that number never came and I was able to eventually get our order. I'd like to suggest that they use a TV screen (unless they have one upstairs already) or a pager to call out the number especially for customers upstairs.

As fast food steakhouses rise up and flood the food scene, their quality becomes a confusion,…read morealongside customer satisfaction of both price and taste. However, Steak Escape is in the middle of this conundrum and confusion. They serve generous amounts of meat and rice (and even gravy) on a sizzling plate that will speak out to your very hungry stomach. I recommend their Sirloin steak, the T-bone steak and any dish with eggs! Their java rice would also not disappoint you, and if you're a heavy eater, immediately order extra rice. The flavors of the steak, java rice and gravy complement one other very well, you would not mind its intense burning sensation upon ordering (hey, it's on a sizzling plate, after all).

Meat. That's what this place is…read more It's meat, plain and simple. Sometimes you don't know what you want except your mouth wants *MEAT*. Thankfully Steak Escape has got you covered. I'm not one of those people who worry about food at the food court. After all, it's one of the places you can get the cheapest meals when out in the mall. Either way, I never have to worry about the food at Steak Escape even if I was picky. Whatever you order, it's cooked right there at the back and served with a ladle of gravy. When it comes to you, it's smoking and sizzling and does have the ability to burn a hole through your cup of soda if you aren't careful. With affordable prices and pretty generous servings, this is probably one of the food court spots I willingly go to when I can't find anywhere specific I want to eat. One thing though: remember that bit I said about food being cooked before it gets handed to you? That can sometimes cause a bit of a wait so be prepared to stand in line with the rest of the patrons to wait for your food. And wait for it to cool a bit before taking that first bite. I know it's hard but you must resist. I've lost count of how many times I've burned my tongue on a spoonful of hot rice and meat.
