I know nothing about manis, pedis, or any of this stuff, so, fair warning. But, I took my two girls…read more(4 and 3) and my wife to get mani/pedi's together for my wife's birthday. They did a fantastic job with 2 very excited kids who had never had this done professionally before. They let them pick one color for each finger and made sure they were comfortable and talked to them. The service was absolutely wonderful, felt like we had been coming there forever! Their nails did look fantastic and they gave them this hard polish that was like bullet proof and has still held up on the girls, which is damn impressive. My wife loved it too. It's such a relaxing atmosphere compared to a generic nail salon, my wife loved it and said she can't wait to come back. So, for any guys looking for something this was a fantastic spot and glad I surprised the ladies in my life with this spot. The prices are reasonable (or so I am told). For any less-than-knowledgeable husbands/dads out there, bring flip flops for the nails to dry. Also bring cash for tipping.

My husband and I accidentally stumbled upon this place last year while visiting Asbury Park for the…read morefirst time. We enjoy some good olive oil and saw that they offered tastings so we went in. Bread is spread out at various stations so you can sample the oils and vinegars. The owner was very kind and even suggested some various mixtures. They were really good! We must've stayed 30 minutes, which was a lot longer than we expected. There's just so many options to explore and the owner is so personable. We bought one bottle. Boy did we regret this. We ran out pretty quickly! When we visited a second time this year we bought a couple. Every few nights my husband and I light a candle, chop some bread, mozzarella, dolmas and whip out these tasty oils. Chipotle, being one of them, was a nice balance of just the right amount of spice. Upon our visit, they were actually out of prepackaged chipotle oil so the owner filled a fresh new bottle for us and sealed it right on the spot. Very accommodating! We inquired about online orders (which may be a possibility) just because we wanted the option to get more when we run out. I can't wait to visit again in 2018 :)

What a nice surprised Vanity Room Salon was!…read more I needed a last minute blowout for a rehearsal dinner I was attending in a couple of hours and thankfully Vanity Room Salon had an opening for my friend and I! The salon itself is super clean, bright and welcoming. I especially love that they have Oribe products. We were offered something to drink and of course we went with the champagne! We were sipping on that while we got our hair blown out and it was such a nice touch! My stylist listened to exactly what I want and it came out perfect! I don't think I've ever felt softer hair on my head before! I couldn't stop running my hands through it! I highly recommend Vanity Room Salon if you're looking for a clean, efficient and relaxing experience.

Danielle is an excellent artist. However the cost of services are out of control…read more To just get color, a gloss, and a blowout is almost $200. For those of us retired that regularly come in that is just out of my price range. In checking the surrounding area, it is not the standard to charge for gloss and blowout. In addition, no one had said upon booking that tips had to be in cash or that the blowout or gloss were additional charges. Lucky for Danielle I had cash that day. It is a real inconvenience to have to carry cash . Danielle did a great job but I regularly go in for services and the salon charges are cost prohibitive and not the norm for the area. The is not a negative on the skill but my thoughts and experiences.
