I have been here several times before writing this review. I love the green sauce! I've had great tacos, gumbo and chicken fried steak, summer plate and several other items; everything has been good. Did you know they serve free margaritas with a meal?!?! (Except on Sundays) Great prices as well. I got Chicken fried steak, Fries, toast, salad & Margarita for $8.75 (before tax and tip) Highly recommend read more

The service was amazing! Very friendly and helpful. The food quality however wasn't the best, but you can't expect much from a small town! Apart from the other restaurants in this small town this one might be the best. Cheap prices, fast service, friendly staff. They really know how to make you feel at home. read more

The Tex-Mex food here is pretty good, but they don't serve margaritas on Sunday, so if you want one, you'll have to go elsewhere in town. The service is fine - the waitress was friendly. It's not a touristy or hipster place - it's definitely mostly locals who eat there - and the food quality appears to be consistent. read more

East TX - Tex-Mex - meh, it's ok... The Chips and queso are very good! I've heard the burgers are great- but I haven't tried one yet. read more

This place has the same red sauce and queso as Casa Ole, so they won me over!! Chips were warm and crispy! Service was quick and friendly. Cheese enchiladas with gravy and queso were traditional Tex-Mex style and mild. Daughter loved her crunchy taco with beans and rice. Kids meal is a good price and menu prices are decent. We will be returning. Christmas decorations during our visit made for a nice start to the holiday season. read more

The service was superior, our waiter Brandon was attentive to our requests. The drinks and appetizers took no time to arrive to or table. Our food came out quick, warm and delicious. read more

No more ! This little place was a 4 to 4.5 good for the area over the past 12+ years. 4 months back was not good 2.5. Knowing things change we gave it a try again this evening 2.5 if that . Fajitas are now what we know as beef roast Not Skirt Steak! Not good. Rice was delicious, now like grits. Chips taste different from Mexican corn chips. I do not recommend this restaurant anymore. I really hate posting this in our small town. read more

I would probably actually give it a 3.5 but since that's not an option I'll go four and not feel bad about it. Been here twice. Seated right away. Food is good. The grilled steak fajita salad looks and is very fresh. The deep fried burrito with queso was really good. Food came out very fast. Wait staff was very helpful. I would eat here again. read more

Very good service. The food is amazing. La Salsa queso chips all amazing. Last time I went, I had fajitas. They were crazy goone 100 out of 10 I don't see why people give this a 3.9 rating. This should be a 10 out of 10. read more

Waited for over 45mins to get food. This place was not busy at all. The server actually asked me if I wanted to take it to go, before it ever came to the table. What I did eat was bland and tasteless. The chips and salsa were average. Very disappointing place. read more

Customer service is great, food is average but chips and queso is pretty solid. Overall a 4.

Good fajitas, the server we always get is sweet. Cute little building. Probably the only good food in Woodville honestly.

The service was good. The issue is their serving size in all their food. We ordered a fajitas for TWO. When we got home I opened the container and the amount of meat was tiny, considering this was a meal for TWO. I weighted the meat and it weighted 4.73oz. Standard serving of meat is normally 4oz for ONE person. Not to mention I paid $18.59 for 4.73oz of meat. read more

Senor Toros - Fajitas for TWO - Mexican Near Me - Woodville, Texas

Good basic Tex-mex. Salsa is flavorful but not too spicy, chile con queso has a good flavor, chips and tortillas appear to be homemade. I've only had takeout, but everything I've tried has been good. read more

Went to this restaurant for dinner tonight big mistake. We ordered 2 beef enchilada dinners 2 cheese enchilada dinners 1 taco dinner 1 order of mini corn dogs and fries plus drinks Tje enchilada dinners were so bad we couldn't eat them and the tacos were as bad but sister ate them anyway. We sent it back apologized and said we couldn't eat it We went to pay for what we did eat the lady had a very bad attitude and charged us $37.oo for what little we ate. I would definately NOT recommend this place to anyone. I would say run to the next restaurant fast. read more

This was our second visit here at the Woodville location. I have to say Woodville needed a good Tex-Mex Restaurant! Senor Toros is it!!! First off I can't say enough about the wait staff, we came in 15" minutes before closing time and they welcomed us right in after we asked if we were too late! This was the bright side to a really rough day for all of us. We started out with some Guacamole and Queso, both were good! I ordered the Senor Toro Special dinner with two cheese enchiladas with rice and beans on the hot plate and a taco, chalupa, and a queso tostada on the cold plate. It really hit the spot! The wife had the same plate. While we got the grandbaby the child's plate with a Tamale with rice and beans. I meant to take some pictures of the menu, but totally forgot. They did bring out the standard chips and salsa to start with. It was close to the 9:00pm closing time and by this time we were all about to starve to death! My daughter ordered the Torts with beef fajita for the filler, she said it was really good! She had never had one before and she's game for trying new things! They do serve beer, but at this time we all ordered either sweet tea, or cokes, and Rootbeer! We get up here pretty often it is where my In Laws live and outs a nice little town. But typical for small towns, they tend to roll up the sidewalks after sundown. Thank goodness Senor Toros stays open until 9:00pm!!! We'll be back! read more

This review comes after several days since I visited this restaurant. I am a native Texan, currently living out of state, looking to relocate home soon. Supporting local establishments is my preference, with that being said, never have I witnessed such blatant disregard for common decency towards another human being. Upon entering there was no greeting by 3 females for several minutes when a male employee gave a very warm welcome soon to be cut off by one of the females in a very short tone . From the time we were seated it seemed an inconvenience we were even there at all. Asking questions on "veggies" in the queso dip, waitress didn't know. All the while another female is being extremely disrespectful verbally towards the male employee. I question our waitress on the issue, the reply " oh they're always like that" WHAT?? absolute shock on her response. The other waitress went so far as to take him off of a 10 top party, berating him verbally, because she didn't want to share tips EVEN though he was the only one clearly working his butt off and with a positive attitude. We spoke to this man. Thanked him for working so hard , asking him about the other woman's treatment and to our disbelief he replied the same " oh she's always like that, it's ok" IT IS NOT OK TO ABUSE YOUR COWORKER!!! This man come to find out is a school teacher, a teacher! For this alone we will never support your establishment in any way. All of the female staff witnessed our family speaking to this man, who was not taking care of our table, we called him over. He was a very educated, very respectful man older with a family of his own. A man with clear values, doing what needs to be done to provide for his family. ( I dare to add he was Hispanic and the females are all White) On the restaurant itself. It's dated, the female staff were all sloppy in appearance, uninviting, lacked general knowledge of food ingredients. Margaritas were very very weak. Had to request chips and refills. The check was left on the table when the food was dropped off with no prices or totals. The quality and taste of the food was also sub par. The cashier had no clue of pricing interpreting our check in her own way and I assure you the total was completely inaccurate by approx $25 less as we ordered quite a few items. Amazingly enough the women seemed to transform and become friendly as we were leaving. I took it as a cya moment. To the owner of this restaurant.... your staff is ruining your restaurant! read more

Lunch beef fajitas are a small portion of meat with a larger amount of practically raw onions. Tortillas didn't taste freshly made. They up charge a small queso from $4.49 in the restaurant to $5.99 if you ask for it to go. Not a good value restaurant. read more

We swung into this place because of good yelp rating. Texmex, but better. Good frijoles dip with cheese and sour cream. Attentive service from manager and new waitress trainee. Went to the loo, and manager was doing a rest room check, the first time I have seen that since forever. Had the relleno, and it is poblano pepper, not Anaheim like some. Crayfish enchiladas had lots of crawfish. I'd go back. read more

I am with a group of young women on our way home from a wonderful Carnival cruise. We got used to all the wonderful bountiful meals on the ship. We stopped at this little Mexican restaurant and was surprised by a great experience. The service was great and the food was even better. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting a great Tex-mex meal. read more

Visiting family in Woodville and stopped in for lunch. Food was excellent and served fast. Tables were clean and staff very friendly. Menu was somewhat limited, more Tex-Mex than Mexican. read more

Best Mexican in Woodville. Food was great. Only lime margaritas available, but they are really good and refreshing. I wasn't too impressed with the service. I don't appreciate someone hovering when I am trying to have a conversation or trying to rush me along to leave in the middle of the day when there's plenty of tables. I have been once at my hair stylist recommendation and I needed time with my niece to discuss important personal issues. I will be back for the food and margaritas. I wouldn't be back if it was for service. read more

AWESOME food!! Wonderful staff. Great family environment and atmosphere .. Affordable prices for the amount you get .. Couldn't ask for a better restaurant !! THANK YOU SENOR TOROS. read more

Food was good. Service was good. More of a Texmex than a authentic Mexican food place. My husband got shrimp but said they were not good.

Well for Woodville this is the better Mexican restaurant to go to. I like their queso. I'd rather drive to Jasper and eat at Martin's.

My fiancé and I went today and it was horrible! We ordered caso with taco meat and it was a lot of taco meat and taco water with little cheese. The waitress was dressed in sweat pants and a sweat shirt and was acting like we were annoying her by being there. Our main meal was ok but over all it was not great. I will never be eating at this restaurant again!!!! read more

Everything is delicious. Lunch menu is very affordable. Only downside is that they keep it about 80 DEGREES inside. If your warm natured ask to sit in the back room where there are window units that keep it a little cooler. read more
