We ordered the Jeffersonian and the Italian Citrus elixirs. Both are 74% chocolate. While the Italian has lemon and orange zest with cinnamon and vanilla, the Jeffersonian has nutmeg and vanilla. The citrus was quite evident and refreshing while the nutmeg gave the Jeffersonian a very earthy flavor. Even though this time we didn't have their truffles, their flavors are unique with lavender, fruits, and even chiles. If you are in for unique sweets and rich elixirs, I absolutely recommend Kakawa.

This place is a DEFINITE stop if you are a balsamic vinegar, olive oil and/or salt connoisseur. Prices are reasonable ($20/per bottle), considering the amount and the quality. Hand dipped mango slices (dried mango pieces dipped in dark chocolate) and dipped oatmeal, cranberry & walnut cookie. Both were delicious. Neither surviving the trip home. They had plenty of Artisan Cold Chocolate drinks. But today wasn't warm enough for cold. The only warm drink was hot chocolate - we'll pass this time. The sweet tooth in me says we'll be back for more.

Not only am I upset, as I have been going there since early childhood, your store has stale candy and your customer service at this store is terrible. If you want stale candy and absentee service, then go.... But you're better off going to a real Chocolatier--like KaKawa... or heck, Alsups. You've lost loyal customers over time... and will continue to if you treat customers like such.
