I ordered the shredded pork chimichanga with refried beans. The pork was pretty awesome but the refried beans were none existent in a scientist point of view, "there was a trace" of refried beans. I got guacamole, pico de gallo, and sour cream but no salsa. Where is the salsa? I told the waiter I would have liked hot sauce with my chimichanga, and that I never had Mexican food without salsa before. He offered salsa to go on its own. What am I supposed to do with a salsa to go?!!! The perks? Amazing and awesome chili tequila. Best tequila I've ever had in my life! I had four shots. It is quite spicy and the spiciness crept in minute after minute after the shot was consumed but I didn't care, I wanted more. Will frequent again. Loved the chimichanga and the chili tequila. I will demand salsa in my next adventure to Mexican Cantina. To those that gave this place three stars, I'm from California and lived two hours away from Mexico. I know Mexican food, hands down this place is a solid four stars. Now if I said it was best Mexican food ever I'd be lying but it is for sure a four, this place actually gets Mexican cuisine right!

Beyond the amazing food we were all drooling over (and then crying over when our plates were clean) the spot is is really well decorated it's comfy and cozy with a fresh trendy vibe. The staff were super attentive but laid back and friendly and gave us a bunch of great recommendations for other things in town.
