I googled the closest check cashing business. We were there for over 45 minutes and went through phone calls and seemed like an interrogation. My mom is 73 yrs old and we took a bus so all this unnecessary documentation made my mom very nervous. They even took a picture of both of us holding the check. It was a Bank of America check so it could easily be verified. It was not until we was finished and leaving that they charged $190 for a $1302 check. I am an only child caring for my mom with no help from any benefits. So we feel robbed once again. We will never do any business with this check cashing again. So if you go to cash a check at this business make sure you ask them how much the charge will be. They didn't tell us any fee much less that inflated charge. Then to make it even worse we had to sign promissory notes or a loan agreement as a borrower. The reason was because if the check came back that is what they would use. Save yourself some money, time and spare yourself what I considered harassment

I came here once and the lady behind the counter showed me how to SAVE money sending money to other countries. She told me to download the WU app, process my request to send money then request to pay in store. Now I only pay $5 each time I want to send money abroad. What a savings! I highly recommend this location because there is never a long line in the morning and they ladies are friendly, efficient and get you out quickly.

IF your transaction is under $300, they don't need to track it with an account number. SO IF you get a money order for less than $300 and you need to cancel it, your money is gone. But they won't tell you that when they take your hard earned money. If it wasn't obvious, these places are just trying to take your money.

Western Union May be very good for transfer of monies in the USA but for foreign transfers…read morethey are a total mess. I first attempted to use the Western Union app that constantly got frozen. I reported this to their IT department & got a promo code I brought $2000.00 cash to a Western Union & requested the same to be wired to a old friend in Paris France. After accepting my money I was instructed to call a phone# 8003256000 Calling this phone # it was routed to a WU outsource office in the Philippines. The lady I talked to accent was so heavy I couldn't I understand much of what she was saying I requested a supervisor which never came to phone. Later in day I received a text stating they were returning my money back to WU I returned to WU office retrieved my money & attempted to resend. After sending the money again I was instructed to call WU at phone#. 800 325 6000 I called this phone # again & talked to a gentleman in the Philippines who started to interrogated me Why was I sending this money, and to whom and how long did I know the person I was sending money to. When is the last time I seen this person and what kind of business did I have with them. Unbelievable I haven't ever asked so many questions by the police After giving information up and beyond what I should have tolerated. WU representative refused to send money.I repeatedly called WU customer service but all calls were forwarded to their Philippines office ..... there was no USA contact # for Western Union.WU has depended on their outsourcing offices to make decisions on if they send your money transfer or not. Under all circumstances AVOID Western Union when sending money anywhere outside the USA I would recommend MoneyGram at many CVS stores. They are question free, will handle your transfer promptly with no hassle. You will be able to handle total transaction with a American counterpart. No customer service problems Western Union while very efficient in the USA money transfers are behind their competitors in sending money abroad. Their app needs a lot of IT work At all cost AVOID WESTERN UNION for foreign MONEY TRANSFERS
