Dave Bongero was a pleasure to work with, he was honest and respectful of my wants and needs of the project when he quoted it. My job was not for the average company, it was truly a job for a construction crew that was ready to handle any surprises if need be. I had several construction companies come out to give me a quote, and some were so ridiculous that I believe that they just weren't up for the job... I have a unique older home, and I knew I needed a knowledgeable and experienced crew that would not freak out if something went wrong, and overcharge me if it did. Gary Bongero's penitence and skill got us through some crazy unfortunate problems that happen sometimes. These unexpected issues scared the heck out of me and being a woman you can only imagine my emotions flaring LOL. Gary's calming words and solutions made me trust his ideas and conclusions to handle the problem. This long-time family-owned company takes so much pride in their work, from their professionalism, common sense, and true understanding of what you need, and what they do is truly uncommon these days. I know that Bongero's can do any job, and the BEST part is you can trust them... I LOVE family-owned companies, and especially this one - Not only the crew but the exceptional young lady named Alexa who handles all the business details at the office

They did a fantastic job and we couldn't be happier. Someone was always available to answer any questions and make suggestions if needed. We will definitely be using them again in the future.

I have owned 2 houses in my life, for a total so far of 35 years, and this was the strangest…read moreexperience I have ever had with a contractor; I felt like I was on Candid Camera. I contacted the company for a quote on gutters; they insisted that I be able to meet with the salesman for "x" minutes, so he can show me his "presentation". Not ideal, but I went with it. Beaudy came by and spent 90 minutes with me; taking photos, notes, calling back and forth to the "boss" to get my price lower. They agreed to lower the price if I agreed to allow them to place a sign in my yard for "x" days. Fine, I paid a deposit on that's when the fun started. The day of the install, two people came over that morning. They did not know where things went, They had no idea what a rain barrel was. I walked around with them explaining it all, and then had to leave for vacation. There was a significant language barrier; although they were very professional and worked quickly, they had no instructions. While on the road, I received a call from a guy who was at my house, wanting to review the project and making suggestions on changes due to drainage issues he discovered. I had to pull over to talk to him; I had already spent 90 minutes with Beaudy, then another hour with the install crew, now this cocky guy who I had never heard of. Where was Beaudy? Does he even work for this company? I called the office and asked that Mr. cocky pants gets off my. property and send Beaudy over. When the job was finally "done", it was not done, The rain barrel was left uninstalled; deflectors were missing in several places. The owner (?) Bryan came out several times to fix all of the problems. This is the short version, this was so ridiculous I can't believe it really happened. I finally "found" Beaudy, who said he was out with Covid for 3 weeks. That would have been nice to. know; but I still am not convinced he even works there. BIZARROWORLD.

I used ReliableConcrete Pros to re-do my original driveway and also expand my driveway. Overall…read morethey did a great job; however they never completed the entire job they were paid for. One of the driveway slabs of concrete near the fence had a buried tree stump that prevented them from completing the job. Totally understandable. Kevin told me if I get rid of the tree stump he'll come and finish the job and give me a good deal when I'm ready. Again totally understandable. I foolishly paid him the total balance for the entire job even though they didn't do everything that was promised with the expectation they'd come back and finish the job they were paid for. Big mistake. I've been contacting Kevin for now over a year and half trying to get him to do the right thing and finish the work. He has upselled me on a new cost to get the remaining job done after I have already paid him. I reluctantly agreed because of the position I'm in and he still hasn't honored his commitment to completing the job despite me agreeing to pay him twice for the same job. He called me on the phone in November and gave me his word he would make it right. Still nothing. Just a repetitive cycle of ghosting and poor communication. The driveway is chipping already and flaking to the point I will have to pay for repairs on top of trying to get the job done. This job was done in July 2024. Very frustrating and downright insulting that this company doesn't honor their commitments and disappears on you. I paid 12k for the entire project and it is devastating when a contract company can't deliver on the work they promised but have no problem taking all your money from you. To these companies 12k may not seem a lot but to the everyday person like me who works a normal job this is a huge amount of money to spend that is taking me years off to pay, all with the job undone. All you ever ask is for people to do the right thing and this company hasn't. If I were a new customer I would have them sign a binding document that holds them to the entire scope of the project otherwise they might disappear on you like they did with me. I cannot recommend using ReliableConcrete based on my experience.

Oak Roofing was recommended to me by a good friend who had his home re-roofed and was very satisfied with the job they did. I spoke with one of the owners, John, on the phone about the monetary details after his brother, Mike, came to my home for the estimation process. They provide a brochure which detailed the process with a complete description of the products which they had. They provided a list of over a hundred satisfied customers. They scheduled the project for about 2-3 weeks out, and on the day which the project was to start, their crew of 12 workers showed up early in the morning and 100% finished the job by late afternoon. The finished project was completed with no details left undone - I say this because I got up on the roof the next day to check out their work. The finished product was very well done - no bad cuts on any shingles, the flashing was completely sealed around the chimney, and the gutter-guards were installed perfectly. The crew did a great clean-up, and except for the beautiful new roof, you couldn't even tell that a 12 person crew had ever been there - not a speck of trash. The other good news was that Oak Roofing is a Veteran friendly company, so the discount was a bonus - every little bit helps these days.
