Everything went better than expected--she took me to appointments and on errands, and helped around the house. She always asked if there was more that she could do. My young caregiver, Galilea was not only accommodating my needs but great at following directions. She made my recovery less trying because of she assisted me. I will use them again if I am in need of care.

SUPERB, SPECTACULAR, PHENOMENAL, EXCEPTIONAL, 20 STARS (on a normal 5 star scale)…read more It is unfortunate that we had to utilize their services, family being placed on Hospice care, but I am glad they were our first choice. Our health care provider gave us a list so I hopped on Yelp and took a look at some reviews. This one had such a high rating I had to read through the other reviews to be sure, but this was our first choice and we got it! This is not what I am used to in larger healthcare settings, but I am so glad that they aren't some super excessively large entity because the personal service we received was out of this world! Literally could not have asked for anything better in caring for our family. It started with our provider reaching out to their offices, shortly after that calls started coming in to deliver the bed and supplies (they use Hospice Source for equipment delivery - will pen another review for them specifically). Once we figured out what they do and don't provide we hopped on Amazon for anything else we didn't already have so we could be thoroughly prepared for our loved ones care. Intake Nurse was at our home shortly after our family member came home from the hospital. They hand you and informational booklet (handy way to keep everything organized and sorted) with homework assignments already inside for the funeral arrangements, general definitions, even a spot to write your entire care teams name and number so everyone in the home has access, etc. We even received a blue card to place on the fridge for contact information for our care team! Our private team was 2 nurses, an aide, social worker, chaplain and even a couple on-call/after hours nurses as needed too. Every one of these staff members we were assigned were absolutely phenomenal! Supreme service all around, if I had my own company I would extend each and every person that came in a job offer. They were THAT good. Hospice work is very tough to continuously be with people at often their lowest point or right before they pass away. With all the heightened emotions of the patient, family and their own personal lives.. you can imagine this is often a thankless job. We expressed our gratitude thoroughly to every one of our staff and I am writing this review to tell anyone reading to have some patience, compassion, and grace. THANK YOU Advanced Home Health & Hospice. No offense, but I hope I never need you again. If I do, you will be the first team I call or recommend to anyone in your service area.

I needed home care on the days I worked in office and this was not it. To add insult to injury, my mom passed away on 5/5/26 and I discovered all of her good jewelry was missing. I understand time has passed since I ended services for my mom, but the caregivers were the only people who had access to my mom's jewelry, which included a special piece my dying sister bought for my mom.

During my search, I have realized that most of the agencies have dealt with difficult situations from their own pasts, which seems to create a certain familiarity.. I know it will be challenging trying to find the right agency, and finding the right caregiver that will want to help us out on the weekends.. Erika was very helpful, but also very upfront that because of the shortage of workers, it may take some time to find someone. I am glad I called.

They assigned a caregiver to my mom (who is 60 years old and quadriplegic) for my entire wedding day; someone who would simply be with my mom in case any needs arose. She was with my mom during the 3 total hours of transit to and from the wedding, and throughout the wedding day...ComfortKeepers even set up a meeting the day before my wedding between the caregiver and my mom so my mom could meet her and get to know her before the big day. The caregiver was great and was handpicked to serve my mom best. They were tremendously thoughtful in the planning process, too. They worked with me for ~2 years (because my wedding had to be postponed) - all the while putting my mind at ease and setting up everything in a timely manner and gathering all the info they needed to do a great job. The info they gathered included very considerate questions: getting to know my mom on a deeper level in order to provide the best care. Special thanks to Caren who supported this entire process. I would highly recommend the Citrus Heights team a thousand times over.

Susan lived in a number of AL facilities over a period of several years but would ultimately move out. She experienced a lack of adequate staffing as well as poor management, lack of follow-through, rude and unmotivated employees, and problems with medication and basic care. Thankfully, we found Tina and the Village at Heritage Oaks! Susan now lives in a great apartment, has plenty of friends, and enjoys creative and unique activities. The dining room serves excellent cuisine, and the staff members are supportive, skilled, responsive, and dedicated. They clearly love the residents and, most importantly, they treat each person as a unique and valuable individual. Thanks to Tina and the amazing a a staff, my best friend is a HAPPY woman. From the outside view this facility looks amazing, however, it was anything but amazing. My dad fell multiple times and I was never notified. Majority of the time, my dad was not even transported to a medical facility for proper assessment which is what is supposed to happen, considering they don't have a registered nurse or a physician there to make an assessment. Mind you, my dad is on a blood thinner and could have bled internally. They were weeks. My dad did not get a shower and smelled like a dead corpse. My dad was confused for four days and the facility made an independent decision that it was UTI and thus did not transport him to the hospital. It wasn't until the geriatrics nurse practitioner from his regular doctors office visited him and found him confused and with a fever. When my dad went to the hospital, not only was he septic, but he also had a hemoglobin of 5.5 requiring multiple blood transfusions and invasive work up which included EGD and colonoscopy to look for the bleed. I brought up this issues with the facility multiple times with multiple care, meetings without success. I asked for my money back, and now Edward Kaiser, and the representative for the facility is giving me the run arounds and using intimidation tactics.
