I am writing to express my disappointment with the service provided by Senior Helpers in caring for my 80-year-old mother. Unfortunately, the initial consultations were marred by significant delays; both representatives arrived over 30 minutes late without any prior notification, which I found unacceptable. Despite this initial setback, we decided to give Senior Helpers a second chance based on positive reviews. However, the caregiver assigned to my mother was only 18 years old and lacked the necessary experience. She visited my mother twice but failed to show up on Labor Day. When we inquired about her absence, she informed us that the company had granted all employees the day off. However, when we reached out to the owner, we were told that this was not the case. Consequently, we chose to terminate our relationship with Senior Helpers and requested a refund of our $400 deposit. Unfortunately, we received no communication from the company regarding an apology or a resolution. After multiple attempts to reach them via email, text, and phone calls, we finally received a response indicating that the deposit had never been processed due to the accountant's vacation. Overall, our experience with Senior Helpers was extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend their services based on this encounter. read more

We have been using Senior Helpers for over two years. We have been happy with both the caregivers who have helped us during my husband's illness. However, Sylvia Glenn has been with us for about a year and we are so happy to have her. We could not have asked for a better caregiver. She is kind, patient and willing to help in any way she can. She has become a part of the family. She brightens our day with her smile and personality. We completely trust her and I feel comfortable having Sylvia staying with my husband when I have to be away during the day. Sylvia is very important to us. She is very professional. We are lucky to have her. read more

I have been using Senior Helpers for 3 weeks. I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible care that they are providing. They have been consistently patient and attentive with treating my husband. They have given support to my husband and myself and are extremely compassionate. I would like to mention the caretakers who have been with us and the amazing way that they have helped us on a day to day basis. Sade, Henry, Wyan, Karla, and Kissie have been a Godsend. I would definitely recommend Senior Helpers as an agency to use for caregiving . read more

Senior Helpers came highly recommended by family friends who had used this company for their mother. I must say, from my first phone call to today, SH has given exceptional service. Julie has helped us navigate the financial side of things and found additional resources that we've pursued. She has made this journey much easier to handle, and she has set us up with a lovely caregiver, Gina, who my mom quickly bonded with and loves. I cannot say enough good about our experience with Senior Helpers. read more

My husband is bed ridden. Sr. Helpers worked with us to meet his needs. They were willing to send workers for one hour in the morning and one in the evening. Teshema and my husband hit it off. She works the hour bathing, making sure he is clean from head to toe. She washes clothes, often dries them and usually folds them. She has a great sense of humor. She is kind and thoughtful. We adore her. Curtis and Rebecca Moore read more

We feel so blessed to have found Senior Helpers to assist in my husband's care. I'd like to give an extra special "kudos and thank you" for JULIE WISE, our Care Coordinator. Its a comfort to know that she is a phone call away. She goes the extra mile to make wellness calls and to advocate on our behalf if the need presents. She provides that extra level of caring and comfort that makes this organization exceptional. read more

Having an aide from Sr. Helpers makes it possible for my senior friend with dementia to remain in his home for now. Shaniqua can be depended on to be at his home on her scheduled days, and does daily tasks for him. When her tasks are done, she is able to sit and chat with him, providing social interaction. Having Shaniqua puts our minds at ease, and we are thankful for her! read more

I love my caregiver Kamesha. She is the best I have ever had. Kamesha seems to know what I need before I ask. She is very caring and full of compassion.
