Each and every care provider who has taken care of my 80 yr. old aunt with dementia has been wonderful. It's clear to me the screening process Senior Helpers uses to employ care providers uses a very high standard. Each person genuinely cares about my aunt, and exhibits empathy, respect, consideration and patience in abundance. Most have said they genuinely love working with seniors who need assistance and/or to provide simple, but also critically important, companionship. All have been faultlessly reliable. The scheduler, Daniel, is great as well. He works hard to ensure there is always coverage, is very professional and just a really kind, thoughtful person. Had a horrible experience. I had an interview scheduled with George at 5:30 pm. I texted at 5:15 to inform him that I will be running late because of traffic. I got there at 5:45 pm. Nobody was there. I drove 45 minutes for nothing. He didn't have the decency to text me back. What a waste of time. read more

During a very difficult time with my mother-in-law, Senior Helpers was there. We needed overnight care and companionship for a few nights, after she had a bad fall and was not transferred to to skilled nursing from an Emergency Room doctor. We knew she couldn't be left alone and we weren't able to get to her nightly. They were able to schedule the same night and she really enjoyed and felt safe with the caregivers sent to be with her. Caregivers who can speak English well and who can be understood when they speak, reliability of service as a whole and ease of scheduling. We've used Senior Helpers for a number of years now on a daily basis, about 12 hours a day. We were able to have 3 regular caregivers who truly cared for their client. They became like family. If I could I would give 0 Stars. I thought this was a great place for my mom to get her rehab from her broken hip. Not all the staff is bad but having great communication is very important to me. I would never suggest this place or someone to rehab at. I'm very unhappy for what the kind of treatment my mom has gotten from there . When it comes to our elderly and their well-being I believe everybody should be taking care of and the best manner. My mom was transported to the hospital under there care she was diagnosed with a UTI and pressure ulcers also known as decubitus. read more

Vicki and the staff were awesome! My dad receives caregiver services through the VA & Senior Helpers was the agency they sent. Too bad the VA is so behind on their bills they had to terminate the contract. I was so disappointed and if we could have afforded it, we would have hired Senior Helpers outright. Now we have a different service and can't seem to get a consistent caregiver which is very disappointing. read more
