Management not so much . . . Like my Dad many of the residents can't leave. Dad asked for a roll of toilet paper and was told no . . . Apparently this is the latest management rule. Kinda petty for a "luxury" facility where a single resident is paying 13k a month to live there.

My mother is currently at a board and care facility with advanced dementia and incontinance issues but they are doing a superior job at maintaining a clean living space. There has been a significant amount of staff turn over and I found it difficult to reach management. I see Allison responding to positive reviews but she never responded to any of the messages I left for her. Her voice mail was never set up and I had no idea how to reach her. I tried to settle my mother's final bill there and it was difficult to reach the business office. I received what was supposed to be my final bill but alas I received another one a few weeks later. When my mother first moved in, there were no up charging, but then they started to add extra charges every month. One month the bill was several hundred dollars more than it should be. I received an accounting and my mother was charged for dozens of meals she never ordered. Management fixed that bill but the helpful person who corrected it for me was gone the next month. It's been frustrating and I began to feel negatively about the experience.

She has mobility issues but can still get around fairly well using her walker and is very coherent. I was not able to continue caring for her full-time and was seeking a location that was close to her sister and other close family members who she had been missing. I was worried that mom wouldn't like living elsewhere but Dania and her care team have made her transition seamless since she moved in earlier this year. Mom LOVES it at Dania's Senior Care Hime! The house is immaculate and very "homey" in that it feels warm and inviting. Dania and the team treat her like family and go above and beyond every day to make sure she feels loved, cared for and that she matters. Mom has a nice, structured schedule which helps because she needs routine and consistency. But it's not so rigid where she does not have some autonomy when she wants or needs it. She has a lovely private room with view of the lovely back patio. We decorated her room so that it feels peaceful and comfortable, with reminders of home and family members who love her. Dania keeps me updated regularly on my mom's day-to-day activities, daily walks, favorite meals and random videos of her doing her exercises. I visit once a week and FaceTime, but I cannot stress how at ease I feel knowing that my mom is cared for so well. I never have to worry about her well/being because I am always in the loop and they really do go above and beyond to ensure she's happy and healthy. The peace of mind I have is immeasurably and I thank the heavens for Dania.

Everyone who visited commented on how clean and sparkling it is at the home in such a peaceful neighborhood with a nice yard and patio. I loved that our room was bright with a big window and a door to the backyard. I can't believe how flexible, patient, loving, and accommodating the team was, since my mom was not a happy camper about being in hospice. She gave them a hard time for 15 months yet the team was so understanding and loving the entire time. I also appreciated that Dania developed menus unique to my mom's tastes and limitations.
