Brought is a 2017 Ford Expedition (159k) that had been having tranny issues over the past 6 months. Since our Expedition ran great and new ones (all big SUVs) were so darn expensive, we didn't want to kick the truck to the curb if at all possible. Brandon gave us a quote, described the work to be performed, price and that it came with a 3-year warranty. Eight days later it was finished on time, and the bill was what they said it would be. I don't like giving bad reviews. But when it is really bad... John the owner kindly arranged a 2 week appointment with the shop for a much needed trans cooler installation before my long trip. I called 3 days or so prior for an addition temp gauge installation, AND to see if everything is going all right for my appointment. No problem said the lady and she would pass on the my request to John. After some coordination to leave my truck for a couple of days, I showed up on time the day of the appointment. One of the mechanics received me and said bluntly: "We cannot performed the service because the desk lady was on vacation and did not ordered the parts..." Really? I talked to her a few days ago... Not a "sorry", nor a phone call from John nor anybody else later on. No trans cooler for my trip and a pure waist of time and energy for me and those who helped me. Stopped by Seneff Transmission today to get an estimate for a transmission rebuild. Price was good, time frame was long but reasonable. The issue was that the person behind the counter was at best rude and combative when I asked for information. When I asked for a written quote, it seemed as though this request was truly a great imposition and she had better things to do rather than help me. She grudgingly printed out the quote . I understand that they are busy but the first contact should be better than this, a lot better than this. Very disappointing. read more

After 3 months of going back and forth to get my Transmission done I have a car in my garage leaking tranny fluid and has a first gear and reverse. Jon had his lacky in the office write to me and tell me that he would give me back all the money I paid back to me. When getting to the shop Jon had a major attitude about the situation and it seemed it was all my fault? He will butter you up, delay and delay and still take in more work even after he does not finish the work he has got. I would not offer any positive input about this business and if you need something done in a timely manner, less then 3 months, I would move on to someone else. Had an issue with my 2011 Ford Explorer, front end had a "shimmy" and I was worried it was the transmission. Tried to get into my Ford dealership, and they told me they were three months out. The service tech there recommended Seneff Transmission and I couldn't have agreed more. This was a real tough issue to solve, It took a lot more work than we all thought it would, with Ford not even being able to give a straight answer. John did a phenomenal job in really making sure he used all his resources to solve the issue. It was a front Axel assembly that had to be replaced with a new updated version and updated bracket. INTEGRITY, in one word that is how i would describe this business. I brought my truck in because I thought the transmission was slipping and needed to be rebuilt. After a short test drive John determined that is was not the transmission and most likely a fuel issue. After more diagnosing it was something to do with too much electrical residence on the injector on the #1 cylinder. John quoted me a fair price to replace the injector and ordered the parts. When I called to arrange to pick up my truck I was informed that a new injector was not needed and it was all because of a the electrical connection to the injector. Seneff Transmission could have very easily changed the injector charged me for it and I would have never been the wiser. It is sad to say but I do not believe most shops would have done this. I would have highly recommend this company. read more

After another mechanic quoted $1,600 to fix my Transmission Control Module (TCM) I went to Seneff's for a second opinion. Seneff replaced my TCM for $850. To state the obvious: that's HALF of what the other mechanic quoted. Not only that, but their customer service was good! Well I went totally off of review picking this place and it was worth the research time spent. Jon knows his s*** and will do everything in his power to get you in and out as fast as possible without compromising quality or integrity. Every single person in his shop is qualified so you don't have to worry about an hs oil boy screwing up your ride. I read the one bad review and had a good laugh bc I spent multiple days on the phone with Jon and Jeff and it has to be something off on his end bc they're top notch. I can see where Jeff can be short with people but only when it's self inflicted idiocy. If you're in the area or even if you ain't get towed there you won't regret it. This place deserves more than 5 stars. Jon the owner has gone out of his way to help me get my work truck back to work. This is after I had attempted to do a transmission rebuild myself (which was unsuccessful). Even being completely booked up he stayed at the shop past 9pm to make sure I had my truck ready for work. It's hard to find a good mechanic these days but Jon is very knowledgeable and will explain what why and how if it. If you're looking for an honest mechanic, this is definitely the place! read more

I'm giving this shop a 1 star review simply for their terrible customer service provided by Jeff. I added an extra star for John who had done an excellent job on replacing the rear end of my Yukon. When I got a used diesel, I had Seneff check the vehicle for any problems--nothing seemed apparent. Took vehicle to AZ and it went into something called limp mode. We made it to/from AZ and scheduled my diesel which I bought to tow for servicing. Decided to add a lift and sump pump. Had to order and Jeff would not schedule me until the parts arrived. I needed the vehicle for racing in mid-May. Got the ordered parts on the days that we expected and when I called Jeff he wouldn't schedule me until two weeks later. Way too short of a time period for me to try out towing and, if needed, fix any issues. Then I took the diesel out and noticed liquids from under the vehicle. Upon checking the leaked fluids, I found that the transmission fluid was over filled. According to what I had read from the internet, Duramax's should never be over filled due to heat issues and other problems. I took this on a trip to AZ (2000 miles) on an overfilled transmission that a transmission shop serviced! I immediately called Jeff (on a Monday) and told him that I needed to have the vehicle looked at by John. John had a day off--told him that I needed to talk with him ASAP. Didn't hear back so I called and told him that I would go elsewhere and to cancel my appointment with John. At this point, I didn't want anything to do with Jeff and Seneff. I went elsewhere and had my diesel in and done within 2 days. After having the other diesel shop look over my diesel, he mentioned that the air filter was completely gummed up with debris which could have contributed to the limp mode I faced when traveling to/from AZ. Needless to say, Seneff did not check what is usually done when servicing a vehicle. read more

I'm giving this shop a 1 star review simply for their terrible customer service. My vehicle had a serious transmission problem that wouldn't allow it to move at all. I contacted Seneff via email to inquire about getting my vehicle towed to their shop. The next day, Jon replied letting me know that the towing company they use would be charged to them (Seneff) as long as the work would be performed by them. He then advised to make a call to get more details. I did so the next day and talked to Jeff. Unfortunately, Jeff seemed to not want my business. He told me there was no towing. I was confused by the inconsistency, but I continued explaining the problems I was having. Jeff's response, "sounds broke." Well no kidding! He then said, "So, what do you want me to do?" I wasn't sure if I was talking to an employee or a customer. I immediately hung up. I then called back to try for somebody with ANY customer service experience. Sadly, it was Jeff again. I asked to speak to ANYONE else. I got an instant no. At that point, I was completely done with this business. Whether this was a training deficiency or simply just a rude employee, I am more than happy to find somebody else for this very costly repair. read more

I went to Seneff after the dealership I bought my Escalade from told me there was nothing wrong with it, twice. I spoke with Jeff, told him the issues and made an appointment for the next week. Since my truck would only have issues sometimes, they did a ton of research and figured out the issue. Whats great is I have an extended warranty that I bought thru the dealership and there were able to get my truck fixed with only $100 out of pocket expense. I would recommend them to anyone looking for honest mechanics. Jeff kept me updated on the whole project since they had my truck for a week.
